After placing my order I had second thoughts, it seemed too cheap, the photo looked odd compared to a UK bottle I already have, this wasn't from a main supplier and it was being posted from the USA. Could this be counterfeit? It was too late to cancel the order, so I just waited to see whar turned up. When it did, the packaging looked correct, it has a serial number on the back that looks in the same format as the UK bottle I already have and the smell is also exactly right, so I have to admit my suspicions were unfounded and this us indeed genuine Startron.

This additive definitely helps negate the stale fuel issue. My 40 year old Suzuki GS was a bit of a sod to start if left for an extended period of time (The carbs are normally drained for winter). The bike also seems to run better so I think the carbs are cleaner having used StarBrite on a couple of tankfuls. All in all, I will definitely be buying another bottle

Excellent product I have been advised by the manufacturer you can use the diesel and petrol additive in either fuel. I use it as an additive in a boat fuel tank for diesel and petrol to eliminate water.

It's too soon to know if it has made a difference to my petrol. But I have given it only 3 stars due to measuring the quantity needing to be added You use the bottle cap. As it's a chemical that should not come in contact with the skin regularly, this is a big fault. Why has the bottle not got a measuring chamber so no skin contact can occur?

Back in 2008 I tried this product in what is now the standard E10 or gasoline containing 10% ethanol and was very surprised. My father is a very experienced street or high performance engine builder, tuner, and mechanic with almost 50 years of experience he has always been against adding anything to gasoline or diesel. To my surprise without asking he dumped some of this fuel treatment in my gas tank of my 2007 Harley Davidson. I was so shocked at this sight I didn't know what to say or know what that blue bottle of stuff even was. Dropping the bottle into my saddle bag he told me -Go fill up, go for a ride, read the instructions on the bottle before you fill up. If your mileage is no better or you don't notice anything give me your cost of fuel and food for the whole day I will pay for everything." So I topped my tank to full 3.3 gallons and rode to the coast. Instead of 80 miles from a full 3 gallon tank of gasoline 120 miles from the first dosage I was stunned. This motorcycle has EFI all stock no engine modifications. So I zero my trip meter, add more treatment, fill up my tank, go eat, and back on the road. 125 miles later speeds from in town to freeway I find a gas station and fill up again this motorcycle has never been able to get decent mileage, run this smoothly, and actually perform like this on the ethanol type gasoline easily getting 150 miles on a tank as long as I add this product as the instructions say. Also my Harley Davidson 2000 Softail Standard 88" Twin Cam has a carburetor and this product makes a world of difference used with clear or even 10% ethanol 92 octane gasoline. Ever since that day I have used this product in my motorcycles, vehicles, camp stoves, heaters, mowers, saws, and pressure lanterns. I can honestly say yes It will stabilize fuel for 2 years. True story I left a fuel system stabilized with Startron in a older vehicle with a carburetor with a full tank of gasoline that sat outside in the elements. This vehicle sat with the same gasoline for six years occasionally being started to warm up for 20 minutes to keep the battery up or to be just moved out of the way never leaving the parking area. The gasoline after 6 years sure it had a stale smell yet it was not rotten, carburetor was just fine inside, no crud or gunk in the fuel filters, no gunk or crud in my gas tank, and fuel line no problems. That vehicle didn't get any better or worse mileage on the 6 year old gas or even run funny I didn't expect that from any treatment or this one yet it happened. I personally wouldn't recommend anything over a year or two six no im not proud of yet im grateful this product helped it didn't cause harm. So if you have anything from your Power Equipment, ATV, Generator, Motorcycle, Tractor, your classic car, or anything else that you care about give it a try for storage so your gasoline doesn't turn into a varnished mess. Or better yet use it every fill up and keep everything running. I treat my "white gas" stove fuel with Startron my camp stove warms up faster burning just as clean as ever. I treat kerosene with Startron and wicks in my kerosene heaters don't get contaminated with moisture from storage or normal use keeping them burning clean safe like they are supposed to. This product says on the label exactly what it does and I can honestly say it really works. Cleaner burning fuel will help keep your engine oil cleaner and reduce contamination your engine will last longer. Carbon build up or deposit build up inside your combustion chambers and exhaust system will be reduced. Start with a clean fuel system with this product and it will actually stay clean. You will still have to replace a fuel filter yes your filter traps dust and debris. What I have noticed with fuel filters when I replace them is they are now just normally dirty from dust from the environment no more sticky gums or varnish. Spark plugs last longer is the other benefit of this product. This product does not clean dirty fuel systems yet it will not cause any problems or damage if added to a dirty fuel system from my experience. This is not a tune up in a bottle do not expect that read it closely. Tune your engine as recommended by the manufacturer and run this product. You might not notice any better mileage for the first tank full yet try again when you burn that second tank I am going to say that yes you will notice a difference especially on the highway or Interstate or freeway. Winter weather and summer weather this product works exactly like it says. Money is hard to make, engines are very expensive to repair, keep engines maintained as recommended by manufacturer, and if you use this you will notice that you will have a better experience which is not something that you can place a price on. Have some fun do some of your own tests or experiments with this product and share what it did or did not do for you because I am not the only curious person here. I am sharing my personal experiences with this product to hopefully help other people and hopefully learn more uses for Startron. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. P.S. I use it In my M3 , ml350 and my bmw g450x enduro love it and recommend

I use this in all my 2 stroke and 4 stroke small engines. I fill up my gas cans, and add this Startron at the same time. I use it in my motorcycles, ATV's, Dirt Bikes, Lawnmower, and snowblower. I also put it in my mixed gas. I always use ethanol free gas, but many of my toys don't get used all that often. My ATVs don't get run very often; they are carburated and sit for longs periods of time. This year one of them won't go through a whole tank of gas. In order to NOT have Carb issues I use StarTron. Since using this product with Ethanol free gas I haven't had any issued with carb problems on my machines. All my engines run well too, and I think part of that is from using StarTron. I will start each engine every 6-8 weeks and run it for 15-20 minutes to allow the carb to put some fuel through it. I then turn off the Petcock valve and allow the engine to run out of gas in the carb. Works great for me! I over-treat the gas as it is hard to put the exact amount it. But it says that adding too much won't do any harm. I think this is better than seafoam, or stabil. I had carb issues when using the blue stabil as well as SeaFoam. This StarTron works better in my opinion and experience. Pick up a bottle, you won't be dissapointed! Especially important to do over the winter when the engines are going to be in storage!

Der Artikel wurde von mir noch nicht verwendet, jedoch habe ich ihn auf Empfehlung gekauft und er wird super sein. Bei mir kam nur leider eine undichte Flasche an. Heißt beim Auspacken Hautkontakt, der vermieden werden soll. Aber es fehlte kaum etwas aus der Flasche. Der Versand erfolgte viel früher als angegeben und die Verpackung des Artikels war sonst auch einwandfrei.
