Shipping took more than a month but it did reach me. Box was a bit crushed but the device was fine so I don’t mind. Loving the gameplay.

I started my GigaPets Pixie four days ago and I love it, the system is fun, the art is cute, the whole care system is nice and challenging and very different to what I am sued to. Unfortunately, on my fourth day of running the device the low battery sign flashed. When I finally got home I was unable to change the batteries since the screw will NOT come off, it just spins but doesn't get any looser and I have ben at it for a while and I don't know how to get it off without damaging the device... I was having a lot of fun and it has been cut short...

This is so cute. At first I thought it would be a sort of copy of a tamagotchi but it is very different. There are so many fun features and the clear glittery shell is so cute. The quality of the paint job isn’t perfect but you don’t notice until you look closely. One of my new favorite vpets. ✨🧚🏻♀️🍓

I bought this and a rebooted original Tamagotchi at the same time. I'm a full-time working adult so you don't always have time for childhood nostalgia. They sat in a drawer for quite some time with their batteries inevitably running low until one day they we're rediscovered with the spark of nostalgia to give them a try again. None of the batteries showed corrosion or any type of issue on either device when I opened the back covers, so I replaced the batteries on both of them to start fresh in character and power supply, but while the Tamagotchi turned back on looking the same way it had the day it came out of the box even though its battery had been completely dead prior, the gigapet who had been in sleeping/standby mode and displaying screen content prior to that then refused to turn on with any battery I tried. I'm not sure if I just unfortunately got a defective version but I did get the fairy in case anyone is wondering which may have this issue. It's just so baffling to me. It had been showing display on the screen and replacing the battery seemed to break something??? I did try fussing with some bending of connectors, but I'm not a small electronic certified electrician so there's only so much feedback I can provide here. 🤣 TL;DR - Just get a new Tamagotchi Connection 2024 if you want a virtual pet from a company that I still trust their 1996 release, or an original version Tamagotchi reboot if you want a very simple virtual pet. Both available on Amazon starting from around $20 to $30 and up depending on case and generation.

My daughter absolutely loves this, and it's so adorable. Out of all the giga pets out there we thought this one was such a cute concept. The screen is very easy to see which is nice on something so small. I remember having these when I was a kid and a door seeing my daughter enjoy it as well. The only drawback is that her school doesn't allow any electronics, and the little pet frequently dies while she's at school. So I would say that these are not designed well for kids that have to be at school all day because it's not fun for them to come back to a dead pet and have to constantly restart it.
