Dogit Design Faux Wood Double Dog Bowl/Diner with Stainless Steel Inserts

Love this dog bowl and stand. It is just the right size for a medium size dog and the wood effect looks gorgeous. They are stackable and can be tidied away neatly in a corner of the kitchen when not in use! Brilliant!

This is a useful water bowl for our elderly little dog, who has taken to pawing at his water if it isn't changed at least six times a day (we keep this bowl in our sitting room as well as another in the kitchen). He kept upending the bowl we had before.

This is a beautiful raised bowl but I didn't look at the measurements before I ordered. It's suitable for a small cat or Yorkshire Terrier sized dog but I had to return mine because it was far too small for my dogs.

Before I say anything else, I must emphasise that I bought this for cats and not dogs. Cats like their water dishes elevated as well, I've found, and they are more likely to drink if the water is right in front of their noses - literally. I do have to admit that the style of this bowl (the 'faux wood') was one of the main reasons I bought it. I had bought some small Wetnoz cat bowls in brown and I wanted a water bowl to match, but the Wetnoz ones aren't big enough for water. I think it's very important to have plenty of water around for any animal and, again, if there is a large dish of water then cats are more likely to drink. However I also wanted a bowl with a stainless steel liner because our water leaves heavy limescale deposits on everything and I need to be able to remove this easily at every water change. Thirdly, I wanted a bowl which wouldn't move easily, not only so that the cats wouldn't move it around but also - given that the feeding area is small and confined and partly under a butler sink - it wouldn't upset if anyone accidentally kicked it. I've had the bowl now for over two years, and it looks just as good as it did when I bought it, and it is absolutely right on all the above counts. The cats drank out of it from the start, and drink plenty of water. The holder part not only looks good but it's very easy to clean, just with a wipe. When you want to pick the whole thing up, to clean the floor for example, there are 'cutout' bits on either side so it's easy to grasp. Regarding size, the bowl is 9" (~23 cms) in diameter at the bottom and 6½" (16.5 cms) at the top, and it's 7" (~17.75) high; it holds approximately half a litre of water (just a little over - I tend to fill it right to the top, again in the interests of inciting the cats to drink). 26 October 2016 - The bowl is still in use and looks as good as the day it was bought.

I bought this bowl to use with my rabbits! One of my rabbits loves to thrown the food bowl all the time, tipping the pellets everywhere and making a huge mess. I've used plastic bowls, singular ceramic bowls, but for some reason he always manages to life it and ripe the food everywhere. I wanted to find a good weighted item that would stop my rabbits from throwing the food once and for all! A lot of other ceramic bowls for have patterns on like bones, paw prints, fish etc that are meant for other animals, so I wanted a more generic pattern to suit my rabbits. The wood pattern on this design is so pretty, I just fell for it straight away. The ceramic is definitely weighted enough to keep the bowl from moving too much, although one rabbit did manage to pick up the edge of metal bowl inside and throw the food yet again! Luckily, this bowl has a ceramic bottom and hasn't just got an empty hole for the metal dishes to fit inside like some bowls do, so now I just leave one metal bowl in for their water, and take one bowl out so they can eat their pellets! The messy rabbit has tried to bite the edge of the bowl a few times in an attempt to cause mayhem, but he's soon learnt that it will not budge and he has to eat his food nicely! There's been no scuff marks from his biting, and they can both happily eat from one side of the bowl as my picture shows. I could easily remove the other metal bowl and have them both eat from a separate side, but I like that they can easily get to water while they are eating their pellets: just personal preference! The one issue with this item was that when I first received my package, the bowl was smashed on one side. I was really upset because I had been looking for an item like this for a long time and was feeling very impatient that I couldn't use it. The packaging definitely could have used some bubble wrap for extra protection, but understandably these things happen. I requested a return that day (a Friday) and was given the option to have someone come and collect the damaged item on Monday. I had also requested a replacement bowl instead of a refund (again on the Friday) in the hope that this one would not be broken, and luckily it arrived on Monday also and didn't even have a scratch! I absolutely love this item. I think it is so versatile, so sturdy, and will hopefully last a very long time. I have not been asked to write a positive review from the seller, but I just couldn't help but share my experience with this item because it has saved me from cleaning up so much mess! All I recommend is to be wary about the packaging and know that you may receive a damage item. Hopefully they start wrapping these more carefully sometime soon!

Habe diesen Napf vor langer Zeit für meinen großen Hund gekauft. Er ist mittlerweile über 12 Jahre alt und tut sich extrem schwer beim Fressen, wenn der Napf so weit unten ist. Ein Gestell kam für mich nicht in Frage, deshalb habe ich es mit diesem Modell versucht. Wir sind begeistert davon, mein Hund kann wieder in einer angenehmen Körperhaltung fressen und hat sich sichtlich über die Erhöhung gefreut. Praktisch ist vor Allem der herausnehmbare Edelstahlnapf, da dieser so auch mal in die Spülmaschine kann und man nicht immer nach jedem Essen den kompletten riesen Napf auswaschen muss. Die Optik ist auch wirklich nett gemacht und passt eigentlich in jede Wohnung.

Wir haben einen Cavalier King ...mit langen Ohren. Also haben wir gesucht nach Langohrnäpfen. Haben einige Plastiknäpfe probiert. Aber dieser ist echt absolut Spitze. Edel in Form und Farbe. Passt für das kleine Schnütchen - ohne dass die Ohren nass werden oder mit Futter behaftet sind. Wir haben gleich 2, 1 x Futter und 1 x für Wasser. Klare Weiterempfehlung.
