Surprisingly, it plays and sounds like a full-size bass!
Okay, this bass is pretty darn good. I’ve had it 10 months now so had time to really play. It’s easy to sling over your shoulder and travel with. I travel by air a lot for work, so it’s perfect. I use it with an Orange Crush Mini amp and was shocked how good the combo sounds. The strings hold their tune well but the machine heads are a bit difficult to turn. The best thing? I had a minor issue with one of the machine heads. Contacted the Batking store to purchase a replacement and they sent out two for free! Great customer service and very responsive. Wish all vendors on Amazon were like these people.

Good solid travel bass
Pleasantly surprised at how great this little bass is. Bought it to have in my office, I like to noodle while I’m thinking or trying to solve a tough problem. This is in no way a “disposable” or “toy” bass. It’s now my go to instrument and I keep it near me at all times (yes, I also own “serious” basses), just love it.

Great travel bass
It is a great instrument, loved it. Only problem was the nut on the G string was a little low so the string is really close to the first fret. Great service also.

Won't stay in tune.
I wanted a small backup bass to bring to gigs, trust me, this is not it. I like the concept, but It will not stay in tune. I returned it after ten minutes of messing with it.

Wonderful to help practice
I have only had this guitar for 2 weeks but so far i really like it. Its so much easier to practice with this bass without having to worry about knocking things over. I bring this with me everywhere so i can practice. I have seen some reviews that said these wont stay in tune, mine does. Its not the easiest to get into tune though. The dials on the end arent easy to turn. I had to get a pliers to help me get them tight enough. Other than that, i really like this Bass.

Poor Set up
My wife bought me this bass for Christmas. I just wanted something portable to take on business trips. Bass seems like a good deal, looked great and sounded great for the few minutes I had it plugged in to an amp. Unfortunately, I will have to return the bass. When I went to tune it, the low E string machine head would not turn. The person that strung the bass at the factory did not cut the string to length and force wound it through the limited space in the bridge. (Machine heads are internal) This got the string wedged in the space pretty hard and actually stripped the machine head gear. Once I figured out what the problem was I didn’t even care to mess with it. It’s going back to where it came.

What a birthday gift because you know it's all about the bass

Not quite right
I really wanted to like it, but up front issues, the fret spacing is different than a normal bass, maybe I didn't have the experience to understand why but it is now expanded than what I am used to. The strings are also too low to the fret board so unless you okay carefully, your going to get the twang out of it. I really wanted to like it between it's looks and portability but it's a miss. I'll give it a day or two more before I decide on returning it.
