Shiny S-884 Self-Inking DIY Text Stamp upto 5 Lines of Text 3mm / 4mm Character Height

The stamp is of good quality, it’s mechanical construction is simple and it’s easy to insert and remove the stamp template and ink pad. Setting the characters onto the template require a bit of concentration and finesse if you have sausage fingers you’ll struggle I did have to use my glasses as well. Expensive for what it is but it works well once one has composed the stamp. Only upper case letters in two sizes, no lower case which makes the composing of email and web addresses slightly odd looking. On the plus side there is a second composing block to make up another stamp which might prove useful to some. Once completed, which is time consuming and fiddly, the self-inking stamp does work well. and makes marking up my daughter's books with her name and address much quicker.

This stamp is amazing for the price. You get two sets of letters (smaller 3mm and larger 4mm) - also two plates for having different imprints ready. It arrived last night and it was the most fun I've had in a while with stationary. Yes, the letters are small and they are fiddly and I probably did lose several of them to the place where lost items go, but the print is very clear and it was very easy to put the letters on with the tweezers provided.NOTE: it is not suitable for glossy paper since it comes with a water-based ink, but you can get a separate dry pad and permanent ink if you wish to use it on glossy surfaces.

A very good product. Worked VERY efficiently at Christmas, when we used it to put our new address on all our Chistmas cards. As we sent out over 200, it saved us time having to write the address by hand, and expense having our own cards printed. I would recommend.

Prompt delivery, well thought out. My 5-line address stamp used about a tenth of the characters available. Setting up IS a bit fiddly, but unavoidable given the DIY nature of the product. Once set up, a very satisfactory product, especially as I am changing my address in a couple of months.

works well but there is not enough letters in the package , if you have an email address and a website that are the same as the name you want on the samp the chances are you will run out of letters :(.they also fall out of the stamp after a few uses , had to glue them to get them to stay in

It's cheaper than some of the other brands out there, for the price you get 5 lines vs 3 for other premium brands.Its simple to set up, you get 2 trays to customise. Nice and easy to stamp accurately.Only thing to look out for, is if you don't fill up the entire platen, you should put the lines near the centre (vertical position), nearest the pivots where the platen flips over when the stamp is triggered.This makes it easier for all the individual rubber pieces to obtain sufficient pressure and stamp properly; on first attempt mounting all the letters on the top, it wasn't easy to get every letter to stamp consistently.

It does what it says. It's a customisable stamp that will give you about 3 lines of writing.If you take your time and read the instructions it's straightforward to assemble. I found using the tweezers which come with the stamp useful for removing letters and then placing them by hand into the stamp. It's also easier if you put the stamp together prior to putting the letters in.Overall, great little stamp.
