I used to have prescription reading glasses until my doctor said I was wasting my money, off-the-shelf ones would do just as well. So I have been buying ready-readers from the chemists for years now, usually paying £15 or so per pair. I find they have a tendency to scratch, and sometimes the frames break, but the point is that they still work out much cheaper than prescriptions. Also, if you sit on them, or lose them, you've lost far less.It had never occurred to me to check Amazon before but when I looked, I saw I could get five pairs of ready readers, substantially the same as the last ones I bought in France for 14 Euros for one pair, for £16. If each pair lasts me 6-8 weeks until I tread or sit on them or scratch them too badly, I'm laughing.

Cheep and not very good some came apart as soon as they where touched

The frames are ok but the lens are not made from glass so won’t stay clear for long in my experience

Everything was ok all arrived in one peace strong frames
