Very good introduction tool for geometry as it has the 3D shapes and the net shapes but it only had 8 shapes -some sets come with more. The size was excellent though for using it for volume measurements as well. It helped my 8 year old sone but my 2 year old likes getting them out and putting them all together too. Strong shapes, strong plastic and strong net shape inserts as well. Very durable, excellent quality

Great Product For Maths Tuition Of Nets, Surface Area, And Volumes.
I am a maths tutor at waveney-tutoring.co.uk. I bought this product to help me tutor tutees in surface area of 2D shapes and volumes of 3D shapes. Tutees of all ages love using them. The nets are great. The product is well made and provides a great help to explain a topic some find difficult.

These are brilliant to use when it comes to teaching children 2D to 3D shapes as well as showing the net and faces. Other reviewers have mentioned this, and we have the same issue, the bottom of the 3D shapes doesn't attach back on. It's not really an issue as the 3D shapes work fine without that. These shapes are a brilliant size, and good for tiny hands, however not too small as some of the shapes (such as cone) would not be safe in little hands - packaging states suitable for 7+ and that seems like an ideal age taking into consideration the shapes and designs of some of the shapes.

Unimpressed
I tutor primary school-aged children in maths and English, and have been doing so for the past 7 years. When I saw this resource, I got very excited, because teaching 3D shape is always a challenge (not just in primary school) and the nets are even more of an alien concept! But... the lids pop off the cylinder and the cone. Even my son, who REALLY loves maths, isnât impressed with these shapes. For the price, the quality isnât high enough.

Fabulous product
Absolutely great product. My 6yr old daughter loves playing with this and it really helped consolidate he knowledge of 3d shapes.

EstĂĄ muy bien, porque - Tiene las figuras bĂĄsicas que se estudian en clase - La pieza que se saca (el desarrollo) es de plĂĄstico duro y se puede manipular sin que se rompa, escribir con tiza o rotulador borrable encima.. sin que se rompa - Los prismas, al ser transparentes permiten escribir encima e incluso llenarlo de agua o similar para poder ver el volumen de la pieza, eso es chulĂsimo y les encanta. La Ășnica pega es la tapa de los prismas que no encaja muy bien y se cae continuamente, deberĂan tener algĂșn sistema tipo bisagra para que no cayera.
