I bought these boxes to make little cake jewelry boxes for Christmas presents. They worked perfectly. They were easy to take apart and put back together after painting, and the magnets work great. These are perfect for crafting!

Nice little box for the price. If you are going to paint them no problem. A little sanding and they work great. I bought them to laser engrave the top for gifts. The wood is very inconsistent and on some the lid was actually pieced together so the engraving was not even.

These are cute little boxes. When they arrive they have a strong smell (like wood I guess), and they needed a little sanding. There are some sharp/rough edges. They also suck up paint. Once painted, the magnet closure may or may not work. The paint along the edge where magnets are must be verrrry thin. Overall, good value and I reordered.

Well made for the price

These boxes are truly terrible. I'm giving two stars only because I ordered the return of the first set last night and had a new set this afternoon, so I have to give an "A" for effort. Unfortunately, the second set is only slightly better. The problem is with the mitered edge on the lid where it cuts against the grain. It's jagged and sharp. There's no way to sand it without rounding off the corner of the box. On the left you see what all of the six boxes looked like before I attempted to make them usable. (note the jagged edge). On the right are the three that I sanded and filled with putty. Even with the work I put in, the edge will be bumpy and uneven. Unfortunately, there's no way I can recommend these.

The 3.5 x 3.5 wooden boxes are well made, well packaged, and arrived right on time. I'm pleased with the purchase and will very likely purchase from them again. I highly recommend this seller.

These little boxes were perfect. They are cute and functional. The hinges were put on nicely so they aren't all wonky. Good buy.
