Camping Lantern 3300019

Had this for a few months now and its an excellent torch. Super bright and really strong. Dropped it a few times and not even a scratch. Very light but well made and with all the different lighting functions its great for camping and charges really quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Like many reviewers I bought this to accompany dog walking as the night get ever longer. It is light, it will fit in a jacket pocket and it is plenty bright. It's true that the main beam is very much a spotlight rather than a floodlight but it does have an impressive reach. I decided that a strap would be singularly helpful, and with holes already present through the projecting "feet" it was a simple matter to drill those out a little and fit two split-rings. It's a shame it doesn't come like this out of the box because on the lower of the two lantern settings where the light is projected downwards when held horizontally, it is absolutely perfect for hands-free walking even in the pitch dark. It's bright enough to keep you out of holes and away from trip hazards without being blinding to anyone else lucky enough to fumbling around at the same time. In one fell swoop it's made my dog-walking so much easier and safer. On the grounds that the manufacturer is unlikely to ad a strap, I strongly recommend taking the ten minutes required to to it yourself.

Probably the best light/torch I have owned it is so versatile. The torch has two settings one searchlight the other very bright whole the light on the body has 4, full white, directional white, steady red and flashing red - you can also charge your mobile phone or other USB device. Haven't had to charge the battery since I first got it and it has been in a fair bit of use. I think I can say this is definitely a bargain.

This a good torch and will prove to be very useful for all kinds of things from hiking to DIY but what annoys me is the hook on the base is not the "two clever J hooks" that the lead review describes but instead a single loop which cannot therefore be hung from a closed loop or branch that the product photos show. Also, the charging cable is not integrated as the same review also mentions and thus will likely be lost; this is less important as the socket is USB C so any current cable will do but maybe when we are all using USB Z or whatever in 6 months, it might be a problem. It might not be the manufacturer's fault that the lead review mentioned these features but if they are going to change the product specification, they ought to create a new product page on Amazon and change the photos.

I've a few torches and lamps that are very bright, but sometimes you need more gentle light that will last a long while, rather than ones designed for search and rescue. This lantern is multi-purpose, and it does each one very well. It's not small but at around the size of a can of lager it's not massive either. Fortunately it's lightweight. It certainly looks weatherproof as described, using the tight fit of the plastic rather than rubber seals to keep the water out. The front lens cover does twist off and is the only part you can readily open. The buttons are rubber coated, and there's a rubber flap over the USB output at one end. A quick press of the power button shows the battery level on four led's. The next press is full 360 degree lamp illumination, the next 180 degree. This is great for when you only need to illuminate an area to one side of the lamp. The next press gives a red light all around, then the next is flashing red. When showing the white light, you can hold the button down to gradually decrease the output. This is one of the main benefits of this lantern, as you can go from very bright down to a glow depending on your requirements and how long you want the battery to last. The red lights are a fixed brightness, which seems fair if they are for warning lights. A button near the handle is for the torch. This is a press for full power, and one for half power. The beam is incredibly tight, better than any of my CREE zoom torches, and it's perfectly round, too. There's a general halo around this of over spill light which is useful. It's still one of the best spot beams I've seen. The body is a light plastic, the side handle clicking into place curved around the body, proud for carrying, or flat the other way to act as a stand. This seems the weakest part of the construction, but is still robust enough for general use. The end has two metal hooks to hang the lamp from. They are quite clever in that they look like opposing 'J's allowing you to hook them on a rope then bring together to form an enclosed loop. The USB charging port is a good addition, but as this is one 18650 battery at around 2600maH would be just enough to charge a couple of phones. The charge lead is the strangest. It's a full sized USB connector that is wrapped around the case. At around 8" long it's just enough to connect to a power bank when sitting upright, and is only held in by the friction of the connector to the body housing. It would have preferred a micro USB socket to charge it from. Overall an excellent all-rounder.

I’ve been searching for a really useful torch for some time. This ticks most of the boxes for me. I particularly wanted a constant red light option on the lantern. Many offer flashing red light, not many static. So this perfect! All round red light illumination worth using. The lantern also has flashing red light for emergency plus two white light settings - one setting illuminates the entire lantern, the second just 50% - extremely useful as a battery saving measure and perfectly workable (after all, light in one direction is all that’s usually required). The main torch has two power settings; obviously that speaks for itself. The beam is very good on both. However, the only slight niggle with this product is the beam width - it is a little narrow in its focus. But, because it’s so bright ambient light still illuminates the surroundings. Also, because using the lantern itself as a torch (in 50% mode firing forwards) is a perfectly feasible solution, it doesn’t detract from this torch for me. It is compact and easy to carry. You won’t lose the charging cable because it’s permanently attached to the unit! Battery life difficult to gauge, I’ve not used it enough yet. But if it’s as efficient as my other LE lantern torch I won’t be needing to recharge it any time soon. For me it’s the red light capability that sells this lantern. Highly recommended .

Excellente torche. Quand je l'ai reçue, je l'ai allumé de suite, en plein matinée d'une journée ensoleillée. J'étais déçu de la puissance de l'éclairage. Après je l'ai testé dans le garage et dans un endroit sombre: OUFFFF quelle puissance. La lampe est vraiment très puissante. Les différents niveaux de réglage (allumage frontal, latéral, les eux ensemble, latéral rouge, latéral rouge clignotant) permettent de doser la luminosité autrement insupportable dans un endroit confiné bien noir. Je l'ai acheté pour faire de la mécanique dans mon garage sous terrain (sous l'immeuble) très peu éclairé. C'est juste génial. On voit comme au grand jour. Le fait d'avoir 2 niveaux de luminosité dans l'éclairage latéral permet de doser la luminosité quand vous êtes trop proche de la source (quand on est sous la voiture par exemple. L'éclairage frontal est juste génial, très directif (sur très courte distance) du coups très pratique quand on veut cibler un endroit particulier (sous le capot pour vérifier les durites ou le câblage par exemple. Attention, la photo est trompeuse, la torche est vraiment petite, très agréable à prendre en main et très maniable (pratique dans les endroits exigus sous la voiture). Je l'ai prise en photo avec un stylo à bille pour que vous ayez une idée des dimensions réelles. Le câble de recharge est fixé à la lampe. C'est bien parce qu'on ne risque pas de le perdre, mais par contre personnellement je déteste, j'aurais préféré une fiche mini-usb femelle pour que je puisse utiliser n'importe quel câble. Pour la qualité de la batterie je n'ai aucune idée. Il faudra voir avec le temps. Si elle vieilli mal, il faudra que je la change (pas difficile on en trouve des modèles similaires sur ebay). Le seul petit bémol c'est la poignée qui fait un peu plastosh, elle est bien mais son système de rotation et sa tenue ne rendent pas justice à la qualité de fabrication du produit. Le manuel est bien en français. Un bon point pour un produit pareil. Pour le prix, foncez, c'est de l'excellent matos. EDIT: Après usage, voici mes remarques: 1- Quand vous utilisez les LED latérales (lumière le long du corps de la torche), la batterie peine à tenir plus d'une heure. 2- Je l'utilise surtout pour les réparations et l'entretien automobile. Quand vous utilisez la torche dans des endroits très confinés (près des pédales d'une voiture par exemple), quand vous dépassez les quelques minutes d'usage, la lumière latérale est trop forte diffuse (part dans tous les sens) pour être vraiment pratique. Si vous utilisez uniquement la led frontale, elle est trop directive pour un usage à très courte distance. Bref, pour moi, je la garde pour un usage général, mais pas pour la mécanique auto. Os explicaré por qué digo que es una pasada porque he visto otra muchas lamparitas de camping y yo tengo una y no tiene nada que ver con esta y os explico porque porque está os indica el nivel de batería que le queda a la lamparita otra cosa muy buena y interesante es que lleva el cable de carga incorporado con lo cual no hay que llevar ningún cable encima otra cosa muy buena es que es linterna con lo cual puede salir por el campo alumbrandote además de que puedes ir a la playa o a un camping o en tu casa si se te va la luz o si se avería el coche cómo ponerlo como una d de aviso ya que tiene una luz roja qué puede estar fija o parpadear avisando a losplemente la lamparita por eso digo que es una pasada me ha encantado y voy a comprar 7 más ya que me han encargado algunos amigos. que les han gustado mucho. Esta lámpara tiene una luz muy blanca y muy potente también la puedes poner más floja luego tiene una luz roja fija y otra roja que parpadea y la linterna también tiene dos potencias de luz es una muy fuerte y otra más floja. Se me olvidaba también lleva incorporado los ganchos para poder colocar donde uno empiece y no como la lamparita que yo tenía antes que tenía que llevar el gancho en el bolsillo o en la mochila y este como digo va Intersport a dos a la lamparita otra cosa que se me ha olvidado es que es un Power Bank osea que puede cargar cualquier momento el móvil si te quedas sin batería como ya os digo es una pasada de lamparita os la recomiendo

A very well designed product with a feel of quality. I haven’t tried it in the dark, but it is bright even in daylight.
