like belt for it is sturdy. the only complaint is that the wooden beads are not neutral color like the picture they are bright YELLOW and so i had to paint over it because it was going to clash with the outfit i got it for; if it wasnt for the belt being sturdy and nice design i would have returned it

my belt is a total of 75 inches long. the macrame portion is 29 inches long with an additional inch on either end where the ends of the macrame are bound before becoming the fringe. the fringe is plenty long to knot or tie in a bow. there is absolutely no odor to this belt (see previous comments). i plan on customizing the fringe ends by adding contrasting beads depending on what i am wearing the belt with. i got the khaki, perfect neutral color and the belt is a great deal for $8.99
