Great model
Another great model by Tamiya. Very detailed. Easy to follow instructions but I had to download them because the one in the box had missing pages. First time I have every had a problem with tamiya products. They also make a 1/48 scale of this but it has fewer figures.

Great Model
I am not done yet but this is a great model. As always with the new models from Tamiya there is a good balance between number of parts and details. There is no attempt to force you to create additional details by gluing hundred of tiny pieces, but a good combination of build in detail in the pieces as well as adding small parts. the fit is excellent but pieces need some extra cleaning once removed. the figures are well designed and add a lot of "life" to the model. Fun to build!

A very fun build
If you have ever wondered why Tamiya makes some of the best-selling models, this is a perfect example. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. I am really enjoying the build andmy time in assembling this model, it's that much fun. If you are into this type of hobby, you'll love just love this model. I'll post a picture when I'm finished.

Well-molded and Buildable Nashorn
This is an excellent kit of the Nashorn, suited to intermediate or better skilled modelers. As with all Tamiya models, assembly and fit are excellent but sometimes at the expense of detail. The fighting compartment walls are not as thinly molded as the AFV-Club kit, but they do not suffer from the warping often found with that kit. The internal fighting compartment details are well rendered, and the hull provides some finer detailing than the standard Tamiya PzKpfw IV hull, though the track tension adjusters still have the wrong number of facets. The figures are exceptionally well molded but suitable only for the winter scheme version. I received quick, secure, and very polite service from Book City Japan to get my Tamiya Nashorn at a very good price.

Watch what you buy
I like to build these models, but the past two times I’ve bought models from the same company. I spent more time preparing the parts to glue than anytime. You have to trim the pieces because there’s so much excess plastic all over. Sometimes the pieces don’t fit so good so you have to go back in and redo it again

Great kit, lots of parts
I really look forward to building this kit (Nashorn Tank Destroyer.) Look like it will make for a good diorama when it is complete. If it is anything like the Tamiya kits I have built in the past, IA am sure it will be high quality. This one shipped from Japan, it was well packed for the trip.

Enjoyed building this kit. Virtually no major assembly issues. I had tried building Dragon's kit of the same vehicle and there were so many assembly problems I ended up tossing it in the garbage. I'm not a newbie to model kit building. I have been building models since I was 6 - almost 60 years ago. I have built over a thousand models during that time (no, I'm not exaggerating). Some of Tamiya's earlier models are almost toy-like, many of their armor models were originally designed to be motorized and those versions, sans motorization, don't always look "quite right" when assembled. This kit is a more recent production from Tamiya and looks terrific despite some of the "nut-and-bolt counters" who have dinged it on a few accuracy issues in their reviews on other web sites. I also like that it has vinyl tracks, not individual link tracks which I cannot stand and I will not buy models with individual link tracks. Even the instructions are excellent, very clear and detailed.

Tamiya always first in the quality of their plastic reproductions.
