Montre solide et précise

Written 11-6-23. I can't stand to have a watch on my wrist. And I'm not too hot at telling time w old fashioned faces. For years I have bought digital wrist watches that I carried in my pocket. In July '23 I saw this Dakota and thought I'd give it a try. It works. Its heavier than I expected. I found I did not like it clipped to a belt loop - banged into every thing and caught on stuff and I really couldn't read it without unclipping. The buttons protrude quite a bit and settings sometimes get changed by accident in my pocket. And as I said its bulky for my pocket. The compas is a cute decoration but I wouldn't trust it. The carabiner clip is sturdy and so is the case. For me the setting sequences are not intuitive and I've lost the directions. I was pretty disappointed that the Dakota website does not have setting directions readily available. Also I thought I would be able to change the face from all dark w light digits - either I haven't figured it out or its not possible (in which case I'm even less enthusiastic for it overall. As the face is now I really don't like it - hard to read. I do think it reset itself and went off daylight savings and that is a welcome surprise. Or did I accidentally reset in my pocket - who knows?? I sent an email to the website and hope they will send me setting directions.
