Excellent quality
After trying 4 other brands I decided to purchase a StarTech cable in the hope it would work. The good news is it worked perfectly and is of very good quality! Most StarTech products I own are a good quality so I’m happy to see this product is the same. After couple months of use I’m still very happy with this product.

Solid cable with lugs only on one end
Got this for some debugging and because it didn't have any lugs on one end (bane of serial) worked reliably and first time, watch the pricing - the length isn't equivalent to cost strangely, but this is well made and is sturdy.

If you've got an older PC under your desk, this is a good extender cable for any legacy serial ports it may have. The fit & finish of the blue insulator in the connector shell at the female end was poor, but not bad enough to cause any problems in use.

Excatly what it says on the tin!
Need a hard to find cable, found this one. Works perfect. Edit*** However after using it for several hours it stopped working! ✋️ 😞

I had to cut this and re-splice two wires for a non standard RS232 Port wiring on my linear amplifier; TX and RX are not on the standard RS232 pins, so I was able to get an inside look. It’s well made, the cable and connectors are good quality. I have a good solid connection between my linear amp and the WaveShare Ethernet to RS232 adapter I also purchased on Amazon. It’s in a ham shack on top of a 1500 Watt linear amplifier and it has performed flawlessly for the week it has been in use even after my major surgery on the cable.

Câble de qualité pour cause c'est un StarTech. C'est un câble droit de 3m, utilisé avec une carte PCIe (PEX2S553) de la même marque, pour une station météo, fonctionne parfaitement. Le rapport prix /qualité est au rendez vous. Je conseille ce câble et cette marque.

Es un conector de conexion de todos los pines, uno a uno, lo que te da la seguridad de poder utilizarlo con cualquier proyecto de conexion, ya que se puede considerar un prolongador de la entrada con la salida.
