I love this gift idea. I am giving it to my history teacher who is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. It’s perfect! I came across this at Amazon and I thought, "neat idea". So I bought it and a day later I got it. The matte black finish was pretty nice against the copper bullet color. The insignia with the newest Air Force logo is sweet. No blurriness, but very clean lines in the lettering makes it very awesome looking. Then the test, got an Alaskan Ale bottle and viola! it popped it off. So this would be a great gift. I can see in the future over time the matte black finish will come off, but come on, how long do you want things to last? Realistically this opener will not disappoint and if it fades then so be it. Great gift, does the job and does it well.
