This silk serum has oil & keratin so you get 2 in 1 I notice my hair is much easier to detangle when I use this to blow dry my hair - my hair does shrink but I have wavy & curly hair so it is not as tightly coiled like other where their hair shrinks more than half their hair length when flat ironed. No need for flat iron cream when using this you can safely go ahead and hot comb the hair as this serum is very rich - I only need 3tsp of this serum for my whole head I make sure to rub serum in my hands 1st to spread & heat up serum so it won't be thick in my hair. If you use a keratin or silk shampoo the silky feel can last 2 weeks or more. It's paraben free if that helps & instant visual results. Safe to use on children 4yrs & over just blow dry on medium heat. If you have a very strong texture or mixed race you will notice hair stays straighter for longer with this serum & as it has no mineral oil hair will be less heavy or greasy. If your hair type is difficult to straighten start using a ceramide hair mask in every wash so by the time you use this serum hair will stay frizz free.

I have been using for a while now. This is an excellent product, I have long hair and only need to use a little bit bit. It leaves my hair looking smoother and manageable.

As you can see on pictures with out it my hair very frezzi or dry but after I use it with one simple blow dry make my hair soft shiny and BEAUTIFUL,but all the hairs all definitely deffinet but for dry and damage hair like me was really useful and I cannot be with out it I just feel make my hair more soft and shiny but I find do the olaplex products on number 1,2,3 or just 3 and after I use this oil OMG my hair become much more EXCELLENT and improve so as I said all hair deffinet but because I down hight light on my hair so this CHI keratin silk it's really work on my bleached dry damage and curly hair ,I LOVE it,THANK you seller I recive it seald and EXCELLENT packing fast delivery.

Not for heat. However moisturize hair well and smells great. Smooth and shine. The red covered bottle is for heat. Same line different product

Pleasant smell, looks oily but absorbs fast and did not whey down, my hair at least. Need to use a small amount every time. Helped a lot with frizz and hair looks and feels more healthy, and a few less breaking strands. Arrived in good time.

Good product for bleached or damaged hair. Coats the hair leaving it easy to detangle and your hair becomes soft and silky, easier to style.

What is the sediment at the bottom of the bottle? It’s reddish and there are a few flecks of it. I hope to get an answer on this soon. I won’t be using it until then. This formula doesn’t smell anything like any of the previous bottles I’ve purchased over the years. This of course could be due to a new formula as the bottle looks different from past bottles too. (The little bottle is my old empty one)
