Q: Can I use this for T shirt embroidery?

Hello, No a tearaway stabilizer is not suitable for a tee shirt. You need a cutaway stabilizer for this which gives it more support! A good one to try is Floriani No Show Mesh. it's a nylon cutaway stabilizer which is fusible. It is also softer! Comes in three colours,white, black and nude. Try Lords Sewing center to get it. Use this to float the towel on the hoop then you will need another stabilizer called solvey wash away which you put on top of the towel to stop the stitches sinking into the towel.

Q: Can I use this to machine embroider onto card stock

This product is used to stabalize fabric while you stitch on it. Card stock is already stiff enough to stitch on so it would be a waste I think. I would try using the cardstock as is or use this on fabric as per the directions and stick the finished embroidered piece to cardstock when complete.

Q: Has anyone used it to appliqué into Lycra for leotards? Does it tear away easy from stretch fabric and small zigzag stitch?

I have done a little with stretch but not a lot. I think it should be ok. It does tear away from larger areas easily some times need point of unpicked to get small bits out but my guess is they would dissolve in wash. Or I use a double sided sticky one that fixes appliqué to your fabric.
