Dulux Once Gloss Paint For Wood And Metal - Pure Brilliant White 2. 5 Litres

Great paint, covers really well , dries tacky really quick but takes about 24 hours to cure to proper hardness. Brushes on easily and the white really is a strong white, easy to use and good value paint.

Bought with a low expectation of only needing one coat to cover some beige woodwork, so was pleasantly surprised to find that it done what it said on the tin. One coat! What a relief!! Good thick consistency, but be warned, once the can is opened, the paint will form a top crust in a matter of days once air is inside the can, even if you have sealed the lid well again. However, this can be prevented by laying cling film directly on top of the paint to ensure that no air gets to the paint. It is a bit smelly, and does take a while to dry thoroughly, but it is the best gloss I’ve ever used, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. I wouldn’t like to say if it would need two coats if a much darker colour were underneath. Probably would be my guess.

Arrived as expected, was well packaged and delivered without any leakage issues. Found this paint covers well applied with brush or roller and dries to a nice high gloss finish. It is quite easy to clean from brushes using white spirits etc. Overall thought it to be good value for money.

This is super value for money, really thick and dries over night, it goes on lovely but can smell quite strong initially. The tin size allowed me to do nearly all my doors and skirting boards in my bungalow. It’s really easy to apply too!

After making the mistake of buying Johnstone's gloss and having to sand it off because it was so dreadful, I am happy to say this Once gloss is excellent. Just the right texture and flow to make painting easy. Great quality and hardly any smell. Looks amazing when dry. Will definitely buy again. It is well worth the money
