Great novel sun lounger.
This is a great novel sun lounger. It does indeed rock when you move. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. It takes some getting used to, and can be unnerving. In practice I'd say you can adjust your angle by shifting your weight, more than rock your self to sleep. You have to position yourself at the perfect position, and then moving your arms or legs will tilt it one way or the other. If you move then very slowly you might be able to hold that position, but generally you're going to end up positioning your arms to maintain your angle. I'm pretty sure the base will wear somewhat making it stick in the most common positions, which probably is a good thing. At first I wasn't at all sure and it certainly wasn't the relaxing rocking chair experience, but it's really grown on me now, and being able to adjust your angle without getting up and faffing around adjusting the back is actually quite nice. And occasionally, I do move my arms or legs subtly to set it rocking a bit, and it is probably more fun than a 50 year old should be having. I deliberately rock forward to help me get up. Anyway, if I've scared you off, consider their non rocking lounger. It's rock solid. I have both, and this one is more unique and fun, but I'd recommend the other to my mother. It's made out of acacia wood, and the finish is simple but nice, with brass (with some discolorisation) effect fittings and screws. This lounger requires assembly, which can be done alone but is easier with two. It's mostly straight forward, but the final stage is 12 or so self tapping screws to fix the slats, and the strapping was sometimes under the screwing point and sometimes not, and a couple of screws dead headed despite very careful driving. They are easily replaced though, as long as you can get them out. Also be sure to fix the top and bottom first and ensure the hinge fits between two slats before attempting to secure the intermediate screws. Again, if this is putting you off, their non rocking one comes fully assembled (except adding the handle). It also folds down more compactly. This lounger folds in half which makes moving and storing it easier, but it's still got a 60x50x100h cm ish footprint. They claim it can withstand the weather as long as you re oil it each year, but I'd over winter it inside for longevity.

Absolutely gorgeous
This arrived today, so easy to put together, comes with tools, I used electric screwdriver which made the job even quicker, put together in an hour. Soooo comfortable! Absolutely love it! Fab price too!

Nice look but engineering could have been better
The sun loungers look nice, however aren't too well engineered. The different parts didn't align properly and the wood cracked in several places despite hitting the predefined screw holes. Needed to move to different holes (or create new), which made the loungers look misaligned too. One of the loungers had 4 screws missing, which didn't make it easier.... One lounger had a cracked wood panel. Overall, the products look nice in the garden but the engineering could have been better for sure. But of course for this price you dont expect something perfect.

Comfortable but not high quality
This lounger looks great and with the cushion is comfortable. Sadly the engineering is poor with bent slats, misaligned screw holes, lack of robustness and a lack of detail that was expected. The fastenings for the cushion are also weak so we have had to add our own straps, if you shift your position when lay, the thin straps simply tear off. For comfort and something easy to dismantle and store it’s fine, for quality and finish it lacks precision and robustness.

Looks superb but quality lets it down slightly
Recently wanted to buy a pair of these superb looking loungers. Ordered them separately so that I could check the quality before committing to the second one. On arrival, the packaging was slightly damaged (probably a courier issue). No missing parts though, so I went ahead and built it up following the instructions. As in my heading, this lounger has stunning curves and looks exceptional once put together. It's a lot more comfortable than one would think too as it follows the natural contour of your body. The issue I have with the quality is that the pre-drilled holes don't line up with the parts you offer up to it and when you screw in the tape backed 'ladder' slats, the screws split the wood in the receiving part. This happened in three places and I had to glue the splits with a small amount of wood adhesive and then used longer screws to grip into fresh wood. Also, the fabric tape used on the back of the slats themselves, once fitted, doesn't line up with the body of the lounger, and although not a big issue, aesthetically looks a little odd when looking down at the lounger. Lastly, the acacia wood looks beautiful, but be aware that it will need oiling/staining/treating if you wish to have any hope of longevity of the product. Despite the above, the price and the look of the lounger prompted me to in fact purchase a second to have a matching pair. Unfortunately, I had the exact same issues with the second chair. I'm 13 stone and the lounger takes my weight without any issues whatsoever. When 'lounging', the chair will rock gently on its curved base until it comes to a rest. Very comfortable. Overall I'd recommend these loungers as they do look stunning, but be aware that at less than £70 per unit inc. delivery, you do get what you pay for.

Comoda, bonita

Ottimo articolo, materiale resistente, rifiniture ottime, seduta rilassante e bello da vedere.

Totally misaligned holes and the overlying ribs lamells are way to short and impossible mount without a big gap in the lower part of chair. I see in comments below that more people received to short rib-bed. Really bad quality and I can't mount it according to drawings. Will probably send it back if DEUBa can't send a new rib-bed in the correct length with 36 ribs and not 35 ribs.

Fantastic! Great material, great design and very comfortable. It exceeded my expectations!

Not so bad, does the job, so far. Production cost must be 20% tops of retail price, and its not even full panels but rather small pieces glued in so would have appreciated a more sturdy / thick set of pieces.
