This may be the older model but it’s SO MUCH BETTER! After smashing my 15 year old Salter Timer one too many times my hubby spent £20 on the posh black newest model and I’ve hated since day one! Too loud, hard to programme, doesn’t always start etc. This one - 1/2 the price and although not as good as the original - much better than the other! Easy to push buttons - I have issues with my hands - more compact, sticks out less as it’s not solid black and isn’t as loud as a fog horn even on quiet mode! Perfect!

Good medium- small size and it is magnetic making it easier to attach to your kitchen fridge to assist you when cooking. Set up is simple and straight forward and is easy to use even to those who have never used a timer before. Alarm ring is loud enough for you to hear even when you are not in the kitchen, making it ideal to have for people who are hard of hearing. Battery life last for a long time and buttons and digital numbers are large and clear enough for use to see and read and appearance is great as well.

I know this item wasn't particulary expensive, but I chose it as it is a well-known brand over other generic chinese 'no name' brands. I think this was a mistake, it is clearly very cheaply made, the magnets on the back, two became loose and completely detached within the first day of use. The display is always on which I suspect will affect battery life, unsure why this doesn't have at least a on-off button or a timer switch to turn off after a x-amount of inactivity — poorly designed. On the positive, the display is clear and the alarm is very loud, although again a shame the alarm volume can't be adjusted.

Meh battery doesn’t last long

4 buttons. Add minutes, add hours, reset and start. Couldn't be simpler. It's self standing, so you can take it with you to any rooms and stand it where you can see it. It's is also magnetic so you can stick it to the fridge when not in use or when you're staying in the kitchen. Bought it when moving into a new house which has a cooker but no timer (unlike my old one). Arrived next day. Perfect. On the down side, it is only a cheap, plastic, battery operated gizmo. It's not delicate but don't expect it to survive poor or careless treatment.

Arrived on time. Excellent tool, which is easy to set and read, and the alarm is loud enough to be heard several rooms away. The magnets are adequate enough to stick it to a fridge, I don't know how long the small battery will last, I suppose that depends on use. I like it, it looks good in a modern kitchen.

Frustrating. There are two versions of this timer, the first was extremely good, and the later one poor. They look similar from the front, but the original version has just one magnet at the back. This seemed to be the only issue with this version, as it didn't stick to a fridge etc very well and it tipped if you tried to press a button. But when free standing I have found them flawless, buttons operate properly every time, loud beep, does everything you need, and I have used them extensively for cooking commercially. So when I ordered some more recently it was very frustrating to find they had changed, though initially it looked for the better. The improvement is that they now have four magnets at the back, one at each corner, and so they stick much better to a metal surface, and pressing the buttons becomes possible when mounted like this. But the two downsides are that a) the beep is not so loud, which is minor for me but perhaps not for others, and b) the big one, which is that the buttons no longer operate correctly every time, but very, very often either fail to register, or register a double press. This unfortunately renders them really frustrating to use, to the point where I no longer want to use them at all. Salter have unfortunately turned a really good timer into a poor one. If they could fix the button problem, then they would go back to being brilliant.

Always works, like my previous old one which I had for a decade

Todos los relojes de cocina terminan fallando. Pero este es inceríble. Números grandes y funciona de maravilla. Muy fácil de utilizar.

Mal producto Llegué a tiempo. No funcionó en absoluto. Todo lo que pude ver en la pantalla fue 98 minutos o 99 minutos. Totalmente inútil. Lo arrojó a la basura, ya que devolverlo significaría al menos 1 hora de espera en la oficina de correos local. Es una pena ya que soy un fanático de productos Salter.

Es un timer en el que, como se puede apreciar en la imagen, los números son grandes y es sencillo de utilizar. Tiene 4 patitas traseras con imanes que hacen que la sujeción a la nevera sea perfecta y no tengas miedo que se vaya a caer al abrir o cerrar la nevera. También dispone de una palanquita por si lo quieres poner sobre una mesa. La única pega que le pongo es que los botones son grandes pero has de pulsar en un extremo para que se entere de que ha sido pulsado. Esta realizado en plástico gris, y da la impresión de ser plástico de mala calidad para el precio que tiene. Pero ya hace un año que lo tengo y funciona perfectamente, solo le he tenido que cambiar la pila.
