Roomy tent
Easy to assemble, roomy inside for 1 person, could hold 2 people also but would be snug. Bought for taking on my motorbike, great compact size and lightweight. Great quality for the price.

The tent is spacious for one person but would be a little "cozy" for 2 persons. I'm 5 ft 10" and it is adequate for my length stretched out but if you're 6 ft or more I think it might be necessary to sleep kitty-corner or tuck up your legs. I was amazed at how simple it is to erect. If you select this tent be sure to watch the video included on Amazon carefully before erecting it the first time. It was up in less than 5 minutes. I bought metal tent pegs to augment but did not have to use them on soft ground. The included wire pegs worked well. I have only used it once so far but did not experience any high winds or rain. I'll follow up after it has had some "weather" but I think it will be fine. It is well sewn and the seams have been carefully trimmed. The zippers run very nicely with no snags and due to the trimmed stitching there were no issues with the zippers jamming. I think a couple of young children could erect this tent with some supervision in under 10 minutes. There is a pouch sewn to the wall for small items and it keeps them from getting lost on the floor of the tent. Speaking of the floor, it is designed to extend upward several inches on each side until it joins the wall material. This is a significant benefit for those traveling in snake country. With the zippers closed, there is no opening, not even a tiny one, for a snake to penetrate into the tent. I found the tent with the fly covering it to be very airy. It also has plenty of headroom to sit up. There is a string at the top inside for hanging a small lantern or flashlight as well. I like the deep green colour of the fly as it blends into the forest green. I picked this model due to its simplicity and speed to erect. I do a lot of bush camping by kayak and have experienced being caught on the lake with an impending storm moving in. Those who had fancy, cumbersome tents were usually left soaking wet although they had made it to shore only to find their tent didn't go up fast enough. Pop tents in my opinion are not as well made and are fussy to pack up. They also take up too much space in a canoe or kayak. I would have chosen the 3-man model but it doesn't have the same design and doesn't go up as quickly and easily. Check the supplied videos for both models before choosing. Night Cat, you should change the 3-man model to the same design as the 2-man for more efficiency! I'll update this review once I have field-tested more! I hope this has been helpful!

I have now used this tent for a total of 8 nights of outdoor camping and 1 night of indoor "quarantine" camping. Now that I've had some time in the tent, I feel like I have a pretty good handle on the pros and cons of the single layer tent. Pros: --Great price --Easy set up and takedown --Waterproof on the outside (I had one night of heavy rain and wind and my tent didn't leak!) --Spacious for one person plus a ton of gear --Huge door --Ability to take small rain fly off to vent the tent better --Nice color; I've gotten so many compliments on my little blue tent --Lightweight and very packable. Cons: --The poles are light but I question the quality for longterm use. I am gentle with them and haven't had any issues yet but I predict that they will be the first things that need to be replaced --I wish this tent had clips instead of feeding the poles through the sleeves. It's not particularly hard to shove them through but it can be frustrating when the sleeve gets caught on the pole. --The tent does not come with a footprint and it is hard to find one that fits. Night Cat says a footprint is not necessary but I'd be reluctant to go without. --You will need to vent this tent to avoid condensation when it's cold. I found that staking out the flap of the door and taking off the rain fly on a night without rain did the trick. --Stakes are a bit flimsy so I replaced those with some better stakes from REI Overall, I love this tent. I'm not an experienced camper and I'm pleased by this choice for my first tent. I hope to get much more use out of it while trying to stay outdoors and away from people during the pandemic!

I was looking for a BEACH tent that will keep my family anytime away from pesky lake-sand mosquito. My other tent was so big, but this is just perfect. Now we're ready to try it. Great quality better than I have hope for. Money well spent, good for 2 adults.
