I had order this potting mix for the first time and used it for repotting. It been almost 15 day that I used this soil mix and results are seen amazing. The growth rate and health of plant is really good. Water retention is also satisfactory. I would be reordering soon for another repotting. I highly recommend this product for those who love gardening.

I had initially ordered this potting mix and was happy with the first batch. It was light, earthy-smelling, and clearly contained rice husk, neem cake, and bone meal as advertised. It was airy and not compacted – perfect for plants. But my second order was a nightmare. Instead of the same product, the bag contained foul-smelling, sewer-like mud that in no way resembled a professional potting mix. It was dense, compact, and gave off a horrible gutter odor. Sadly, my third order was the same – once again foul-smelling mud instead of the promised mix. The smell is so strong and unpleasant that even after washing with Dettol and alcohol spirit, it lingers on my hands. I highly doubt this contains any of the listed ingredients (river sand, bone meal, vermicompost, neem cake, etc.). To me, it feels like some kind of contaminated sludge. Amazon really needs to monitor such sellers. It’s unacceptable that under the same listing, buyers can receive two completely different products – one genuine, one highly suspicious and possibly unsafe. Such unscrupulous practices not only cheat customers but also put our plants (and maybe our health) at risk. Buyers beware: the quality is inconsistent, and you may not get what is described on the product page. Using foul, sewage-like potting mix can kill plants in several clear ways. Such material is often anaerobic and waterlogged, which starves roots of oxygen and promotes root-rot pathogens (Pythium, Phytophthora, etc.), causing soft, blackened roots, wilting and sudden collapse. Contaminated mixes may contain harmful bacteria, fungus or parasitic eggs that infect seedlings and weakened plants. They can also carry chemical contaminants or heavy metals that stunt growth, cause leaf yellowing, distorted new growth, or prevent flowering/fruiting. Dense, compacted sludge provides poor drainage and root penetration, so roots can’t explore or take up nutrients properly - plants become stunted and die slowly. Finally, an imbalanced mix (very high salts, undecomposed waste, or extreme pH) can burn roots immediately and make the soil toxic to life.

Product is ok, no perlite at all in soil. Also, the soil is too wet that's why it shows the weight otherwise it doesn't look like 20 kg at all. Ot has watered soil and more cocopeat included.
