Very convenient little bracket to hang a taillight. I like to have at least two taillights running when I ride.

The mount was made for adult bikes but fits my kids specialized 20” bike saddle. Works great and holes the hotshot perfectly in place. Super easy to install.

Easy way to mount your cygo rear light on your seat rails in a position that’s completely visible but up and out of the way

I swear by my tail light. I got a new bike with a custom painted seatpost. So wrapping a clamp or anything around it is no longer an option for me. This rail mount is PERFECT. Your light snaps into place at a nice highly visible place.It may be a problem if you have a saddle bag, but I can't use one of those around my seatpost anymore either. The things we do to keep a custom paintjob. I for one am glad Cyclolite had this option. A solid purchase.

Easy to install. Fantastic option for suspension seat post, when we couldn't use the wrap-around holder for the taillight. Screwed it tightly onto suspension springs on back of Townie saddle when it wouldn't fit on rails (too close to seatpost), and it holds just fine!

Unfortunately, you can't use the excellent seat post mounts that are included with Cygolite taillights if you have a step through bicycle. Transport requires a cross bar adapter. The entire weight of the bicycle ends up resting on the seat post mount. So, you need a saddle mount like this to make room for the cross bar adapter. The best I can say is that this saddle mount works minimally. I've been a Cygolite customer for at least 15 years. Cygolite's products used to define the state of the art. This saddle mount is designed so badly that I'm left wondering if the design was really done by the Cygolite folks in California or if it was delegated to the Chinese supplier. I'm always disappointed when I buy a made-in-China product and I'm left with zero confidence that the American retailer has ever tried using it. The basic problem is that the adapter is too short vertically from the seat rails to the go-pro pivot. That creates five issues: 1. Because the pivot mechanism is too high, it interferes with the seat rails and the plastic moldings on the underside of the seat that hold the rails. I had to slide the seat back to make room for the mount. That downgraded the fit of the bicycle, making my body want to slide forward on the seat. Totally unnecessary. 2. Even with the saddle moved back to accommodate the taillight, it can't be adjusted to be vertical. It must be tipped downward due to interference that can't be cured. The amount of the tip down is acceptable but not desirable. 3. My Cygolite Hypershot 350 has the controls at the top. They are difficult to access even with bare fingers. In fact, they can't be accessed at all if I'm wearing full finger gloves. 4. It's impossible to charge the Hypershot 350 when mounted on the bicycle because interference prevents access to the charging port. Interference also prevents the taillight from being removed unless the mount is rotated to be close to horizontal. Then, the mount has to rotated as close to vertical as possible before use. 5. Rotating back and forth eventually loosens the pivot screw. The screw is inaccessible with the mount on the saddle. The mount must be completely removed from the seat rails to tighten the pivot screw. The saddle mount consists of only three small plastic moldings and three screws. Good design is not rocket science. I hope to see a vastly improved version two. In the meantime, seriously consider using Cygolite's rear rack mount if your bicycle allows. I've tried both and the rear rack mount is the better solution overall. See my review of that product.

Good in the right application. My application didn't allow. Had to return. Lost a star b/c of lack of sufficient info to make the determination BEFORE purchasing.

Excelente buen accesorio, material plástico de muy buena calidad y diseño, difícil que se rompa. Lo negativo es que sólo se coloca en los rieles de manera horizontal y no más arriba si quisieras elevar más la luz o acercarla más al sillín; pero lo solucionas con un extensor trípode.

Un producto que cumple con su función, la relación de precio-calidad es impresionante. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
