Seac Basic HD, 5 mm neoprene diving boots with side zip and semi-rigid sole

bought these to try out and now never dive without them, they are so soft and snug fitting with a soft soul so doesn't feel like your wearing a boot but with the added warmth it prevents cramp toe, i also love the extra heal notch that helps keep your fin on in the back .a well thought out and well worth it dive boot

I wasn't sure about the sizing and had to look on the Seac website as no indication on Amazon what the small or medium sizes equate to. The XS size indicated UK 3-4 or EU sizing was 37-38. I am a size 4 1/2 so a bit of a dilemma. I ordered this size going on the EU sizing and the fit is perfect. Very comfy, well made with good soles for walking about on the shore. Yes a bit narrow in the ankle but you don't need the zip done all the way up and neoprene does stretch in the water. Overall, a happy customerVery happy with purchase

Great shoes. Have used these on a stony beach in Ireland and they made it a lot more comfortable to walk into and out of the water. When I wore them with a wetsuit my feet stayed very warm an it was easy to swim while wearing these. I didn't notice them weighing me down. I was a bit worried about the zips on the booties but they make it a lot easier to take them on and off. There is a strap which prevents the zip from coming down while swimming which is also a great feature. I'd highly recommend these boots to anyone looking, they may be more expensive than other options but they are worth the extra money

Bought these are reading good reviews. They fit reasonably well (I take a size 4 (37) and have very slim feet. But the thing that makes these boots work is the side zip. Once I have been swimming my hands are cold and getting them off would be so difficult without the zip. The sole has a comfortable, rugged but flexible tread which stops me slipping around on the pond edge.

Really comfortable boots once I’d mastered the sizes - I’m a UK size 5 and I had to exchange the S for an XS which fits perfectly (wouldn’t it be good if there was a size guide!). The toe area has good protection, the ankles are not too tight when zipped up unlike some other makes, and the tread is quite substantial - good if you need to walk around a lot and don’t want the sole to wear out quickly.

These things are marvellous. Curiously enough I don’t actually dive in them. I just use them for exploring rock pools and other coastal misadventures.It’s a shame that this material is so downright harmful to the environment as it is miraculous. The feet are kept warm even when wet and the grip is every bit as good as any alternative.From a fashion perspective you’ve got to start from a place of pretty good street credit to be able to pull these babies off. Or just use my logic: The people that define fashion are just making it up as they go along, so why not be a trend setter yourself?To close, I would absolutely recommend these. Warm, comfortable, surprisingly durable for the price and seemingly crab/stone/kraken proof. A rare cheap delight.

Used for the first time today in the sea near Dundee, Scotland (so it was pretty bracing...). Excellent boots! Kept my feet very nice and comfortable - actually warm, even. Soles are great, easy to get on and off, chunky zip is superb when your fingers are frozen.My gf has the same boots and loves them also - I got mine because she recommended.

One size up, a very generous width fitting, very comfortable, bought to wear dry suit with them, perfect fit and a velcro tab to lock the zip up. Great value for money too!
