Green Toys Recycling Truck

I was a bit skeptical about the price for a plastic toy but decided to support the company as I'm big on eco living and recycling, and a wooden toy equivalent in this case wouldn't have worked with the dumping mechanism. Anyway, my 2 year old has been obsessed with it since he opened it, and we are now laughing with his dad about how the hourly rate for the entertainment value is working out very cheap now despite the initial investment! It's large, sturdy and I love the packaging which is all card, no glue or plastic, plus you can cut out cards from it to sort into the lorry. A plus for me is that its not garish green or orange like many toys, but a muted green which isn't so much of an eyesore in my home on the floor! Love this. I will be buying more from GreenToys in the future for sure :)

This is a great present for kids who like trucks and parents who are keen to minimise plastic waste. Love the cardboard packaging and use of recycled materials, and best of all, it's just a great toy. It's very sturdy and copes well with grass/mud/gravel, but it has all the right details (2 year old could tell immediately it was "bin lorry!").

I bought this after seeing one on display and loving the idea of a good quality toy being produced from recycled materials. My young grandson adores it so much that I've bought the Green Toy ferry for his second birthday. The toy is lovely and chunky for little hands to be able to grab hold of confidently and robust enough to survive boisterous play. It's ideal for older children too as their imaginative play can develop as well as understanding the educational aspects. This is such a good quality product and well thought out. It survives the water tray as well as general play and is also dishwasher proof. It does not have any annoying bits that fall off or break easily so children can act out their games without unnecessary frustrations. I feel confident that my second purchase will be just as well received as my first!

This is an awesome toy. My little one loves Amazon’s Stinky and Dirty Show, so we got her this to be Stinky (finding a sturdy digger with a backhoe to be Dirty is really difficult!) We love that it's made from recycled plastic, and it's so sturdy, this thing charges around gardens and parks, deals with sand, dirt, water and massive slides. Brilliant.

The truck, which was a gift, is sturdy and has nice features in the design. One of the best parts was how it rolled out of the box without having to fight those plastic ties. I plan to buy more from the range.

Blilliant toy, incredibly sturdy and well made, nothing to fall off and seems like it will truly last for a lifetime. A bargain!

It is good quality but it doesn’t do much for the money. The cab wasn’t attached and once it was clicked into place I couldn’t open it again so the seat is loose inside.

Bought as a gift for my grandson for Christmas. He spent a good part of the day playing with it. Adding things to its large container space and "driving" it all over the house. Very sturdy as he was leaning and even sitting on it. Great toy for toddler play.

This recycling truck is extremely robust and super well made. It can definitely take the typical rough play of toddlers. I have given Green Toy products to friends because I love that they’re made of recycled milk jugs, plus the products are well designed and doesn’t look like your typical cheap/tacky looking toys. It may not be the cheapest toy on the market but it definitely offers excellent value. This truck is really built to last and will accompany little ones with their imaginative play for many years to come.
