A perfect book, for who would like to have some knowledge regarding our body and how is working... Good exercise for the people that want to improve their Professional English

This is the best which I meet.

This book is useful for picking up some core vocabulary and easy to teach from too. The only criticism I would have i is that the vocabulary could be presented in a way that makes it easier to guess meaning from context. I have used it with a student who wants to practise in the UK and it's been a great aid to lessons. Probably not so much for an independent learner as it has no pronunciation guide.

I am an interpreter and I bought this book to practise medical terminology. I like the layout - explanation on even pages and practice on odd pages. It has got a key, which is very useful for self-study. It has also got an index with pronunciation.
