Perfect for everything
Considering the size, I think it’s a powerful projector, good quality image and brightness as well, just a little bit noisy fan sound, but beyond that, It’s a really good product

Very good
My first impression on this item - it has amazing brightness and sharpness of image, unlike many similar dlp projectors. It arrived in all new package, seems that's really new item.

Very happy
Have not used it too much, but the picture quality so far is excellent. Love the portability and quality of the unit. Its a shame the power supply is a large 19v unit as this detracts from the portability. If it was powered & charged via USB-C it would have had 5 stars

Beware. Expired warranty as old stock. Otherwise rhe projector is rather good.
I bought this "new" for £360. However, when trying to register it with asus, it turns out the warranty has expired. So, i have paid full price for an item without warranty.Aside from this, the projector is pretty good. Battery lasts 2 hours exactly, despite being on quarter for over an hour.Image is pin sharp from corner to corner. Infact too sharp, which emthasises the pixels. When compared to my old 720p portable portable projector (mirmoir 150) which is 5 years old, but still going strong with a good 75% battery capacity left. The mirmoir has quite a soft image, bit looks higher resolution. It isnt, i counted pixels, but the blur anti-aliasing makes the pixes less obvious. The asus, is so sharp!!! Great optics. The fan noise using battery (200 lumens) is also not noticable. I have 4 projectors and the asus s2 is the only one i cannot notice fan noise. Outside, i had it about 50cm from my head and the volume on quite low (1 watt) the fan noise was only slightly noticable and not at all distracting. No more than a laptop with its fan on miniumim running word. The remote however is completely pointless and only works if about 5cm from the ir receiver on the back of the projector. This would be fine, but the "joypad" on the projector is not very good.I would give the projector 3.5 stars (3 on amazon as 3.5 isnt achievable) for its technical ability. However i have to drop this to 1 star as amazon are selling goods outside of warranty. This is not acceptable.I am also aware potential buyers tend to read either 5 star reviews if they are ready to buy. Or 1 star reviews if they have reservations. Thus i am trying to write a review for both buyers.Should you buy? Yes, if you dont care about warranty as the projector is fery good for the money. No, if you will feel cheated by amazon for selling full price items which are old stock (box states manufactured in 2020)Update: I contacted Asus regarding the warranty. They replied, assuring me the warranty would be honoured despite not being able to register on their website.

Although not the best in terms of brightness and image quality, it is a cute little projector.
