How much of this product is needed for a decent scented bath?

I would say a couple tablespoons. It smells so good! It leaves you skin soft and moisturized- not greasy. This is the only stuff I ever put in my bath. It's honestly worth the money.

Duration till expiration?

I am suspiscious of any product that does not have an expiration date -- particularly, when it is NOT sealed. It's not safe -- it could be tampered with during the packing/fullment process at AMAZON. I received a bottle of aspirin from AMAZON unsealed -- it wouldn't be safe to use that aspirin, or any product, that could be so easily tampered with.

Should there be a seal under the lid? There was no seal on mine and I’m afraid to use it

I purchased this for someone off their AMAZON WISHLIST, but I am NOT comfortable giving it to them without a seal. Mine was purchased from SELLER SuperOrdinary BUT it was fulfilled/shipped by AMAZON. Mine arrived in a flimsy plastic bag and did not come sealed or with any protective padding -- the box was torn, covered with black stuff, the lid was off the jar (so powder spilled in the box); the box and label looked very old/yellowed and the fact it did not have a seal and I could not find an expiration date on the jar or box -- there is NO WAY I would use this myself, let alone gift it to someone -- it's not safe. One answer by a SELLER said "To ensure that your products are used within a time of optimal freshness and efficacy, we recommend storing all of our products in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and using them within 12 months of opening." BUT, there isn't any way to assure freshness without a seal or expiration date. It is AMAZON's responsibility to package and ship SELLER'S items properly -- they do not, and they will not accept responsibility. The SELLER is not to blame.

Why did mine not arrive in a box from the manufacturer? Mine was shipped in bubble wrap, no box. Is this authentic?
