A 'peace of mind' buy, this kit is brilliant value. It would cost significantly more to buy the items separately. In case it's not clear, the kit contents are as follows: -1 x 20x20cm burn dressing -2 x 10x10cm burn dressing -2 x 5x5cm burn dressing -1 x Burn gel bottle (50ml) -8 x Burn gel sachets (3.5g) -3 x conforming bandages (5cm x 4m) -1 x Gloves -1 x Shears -1 x General First Aid Guidance leaflet (very brief) The only negatives for me are that the shears on the small side (easily replaced of course) and that the kit could probably do with more than one pair of gloves (I will be adding some more). Not enough to prevent a 5-star rating though. It is also possible to purchase a refill pack for this kit, but it's (currently) only £1.50 cheaper than the full kit, including the bag.

I'd been looking to order some burn first aid gel and dressings as I didn't have any when I scolded my hand a few months back. I've used similar burn aid gel when I was cabin crew and it was always great for hot tea or coffee spills. When I looked at buying the gel and dressings separately they would have worked out quite expensive to get just the gel sachets, plus the medium & large gel dressings, so when I saw this kit, in a first aid box, with a big selection of items, in different sizes, it looked great value for money. I had wanted enough to have some in my home and some in my car for any emergencies. This was perfect. Plus you not only get the selection of burn aid items , you also get a thermal foil blanket, a pair of gloves, scissors, tape and 2 different sized bandages plus some sterile water for either eye rinse or wound rinse. Very good value for money. The box came wrapped in cellophane too. And there's a mini leaflet that tells you what to do with burns and CPR instructions etc. Highly recommend. I took a few of the different burn aid sachets out to keep in the house 1st aid box, and kept the rest in this box to put in the car. I was able to squeeze a few other items in there like some plasters, a triangular bandage, some alcohol wipes, and other wound dressings that are different to burn dressings, so it will cover most things. I will look at adding a couple of extra pairs of sealed sterile gloves as it only had 1 pair but that's no problem. Very happy with this kit, as would have worked out a lot more expensive buying the separate sizes of burn gel and burn dressings. Let alone the other things included. I also know that the gel is very effective in soothing a burn, and helping the healing, and it's important to use correct non adherent dressings on burns otherwise it can cause more issues esp for bad burns. We used the gel on the aircraft for any hot drink spills and people said it soothed the sting a lot. Highly recommend.

Great value for money, significantly cheaper buying the kit than buying the items individually, and even if I needed more items probably cheaper to buy the kit again. Super useful to have around, more than enough contents for the money and the bag is perfect size and has space to add to the kit too.

Seems to contain everything you might need for treatment of minor to not so minor burns. Well packaged with good quality products. The case is good and it’s nice to have everything in the one place. If you use an item it’s easy enough to get refills. Great kit to have around the house or workplace.

Brought to replenish my Burns kit located in my kitchen after having to use some of the contents when I burnt myself, very good price. Would recomend as it contains a bottle of burn gel as well as burn dressings and burn gel in sachets.

Amazing little thing to have just incase of emergency definitely worth the money

Got this after burning myself at home one day and having nothing but cold water to ease the pain. Only used once since I got it and it worked great.
