Sewing Pattern S8910 Misses' Dress, R5 (14-16-18-20-22)

Love it! Especially made in floral viscose linen

I bought this pattern over a year ago and decided to come and review as I love it so much. I have seen this dress up three times now. I am a size 14 in store bought clothing and measured up as size 16 for the pattern. This is quite normal when sewing your own garments, so always follow the pattern measurements to get your true size. Good clear instructions. Very flattering style, especially if you have a little belly to disguise. With no zips or fasteners, it is a very easy make for all levels, highly recommended

Easy to use

Not a good pattern if you need to lengthen top , had to modify how back section piece to fit it , but nice when finished

Haven't done this yet, need to make correct material choice

I got this pattern from a magazine I bought earlier this year. I made the dress in a light weight cotton fabric. It looked lovely on a hanger, but not on me. I really looked pregnant. I couldn't make the front look flatter, whatever I tried. In the end I throwed the pattern in the bin and gave the dress to charity.
