I have been an intense athlete (cycling, basketball, surfing, weightlifting, swimming, frisbee, and running) throughout that time. I bought these supplements for my elderly mother and I to take for our heart health. The gel capsules are smooth, large, and soft. They can get slightly sticky in the heat, but they are still relatively easy to swallow. They have no off-putting smell or taste. We have been taking them for a while and we have had no ill side effects. My mother's blood pressure and affect seem to improve while she is taking these. I don't have any glaring health issues, so I can't really tell much of a difference for myself. Overall, I am pleased with this product. I think this is a quality supplement for the current price.
