LOVING this book
an absolutely amazing book that covers a number of interdisciplinary humanities areas, from history to the arts to science etc of the renaissance. the imagery is amazing, and although the book is enormous in terms of its size, it is really well structured, easy to follow, and engaging throughout. it reviews the renaissance from many different perspectives and provides an excellent contextual understanding of this exciting period. i loved the unusual chapters on the development of maps, on emerging collections of coins and books and other quirky parts of the book, which are normally not included in such a book

Complete and interesting!
Really nice book. It doesn't cover the topics in a lot of depth but it gives quite a detailed overview on each of them.

The Renaissace Complete
This is a lovely book and great value for the money. I had no problems with delivery and the book is in perfect condition. It's the sort of book that you just pick up and put down again, but never fails to delight and inform.

Just beautiful book Excellent information and pictures

This is an excellent overview of the history of the Renaissance. There is not a great amount of detail, so it would make sense for someone going to Italy to read it. Every other page has something different - such as a page on Pisa, or a section on various artist. Photos are clear and in colour.
