Every Koi keeper should have this on site ready to use when needed no matter the level of expertise. It contains everything needed to treat and seal a wound or ulcer. The instructions are very easy to follow and carry out just prepare everything needed in advance before commencing treatment including a wet towel or cloth and cotton pads or kleenex to dry the wound as none is provided. There is no brush in the bottle as mentioned in the instructions. The cotton tips were wrapped in the gloves so be careful when opening as I dropped a few when unrolling. A warning on recovery our Koi appeared dead after treatment, no movement of the gills or mouth and no body movement. We held it upright over the airstone for 45 minss and almost gave up but eventually we saw movement of the girls, then mouth, then it regained balance and was upright after an hour. So don't give up as we nearly did.

Nice bit of kit, great value for money. I did the operation today everything went smoothly. instruction are spot on but if unsure run a youtube page up and search treating koi ulcer. The koi calm is quite strong so I reccomend if using wear a dust mask which you can buy cheap from amazon or local stores.

My first time to aneathetise a large koi to sort out an ulcer but the instructions were very clear and the fish is doing much better.
