This was a little pricey, but, if you have a Lego enthusiast it’s a great project. I bought this for my grown son. It was perfect when he finished it. The lighting is enjoyable!

This is a lovely challenge. I just love it!!! It is so intriguing to see how they made each piece to fit perfectly. The directions are fairly easy to follow however in previous kits that I've done they highlight with a blue line/circle around the new pieces location. This one did not so you really have to pay attention. This is a wonderful project. Definitely for adults.

Very unique set. Bought this as a gift and they loved it. The power features are very cool; the light actually rotates and gives this a nice finishing touch. No complaints, it's a great set!

Loved the build and looks great. Rebuilt the motor/driveshaft several times. Makes alot of noise and doesn't always turn the lens.. disappointing because the shafts and gears Lego has available could have made the drive portion of the lighthouse work perfect and run quietly. I have built the G500 Mercedes set and the McLaren P1.. both have intense transmissions and drivetrains.. this set could have used a few different parts and actually worked!! Have to take bottom of tower off and hold a small screwdriver against the driveshaft to turn the light.. can't just sit back and enjoy it. Nice set overall, looks great on shelf, just disappointed the lens doesn't turn well given the price of the set.

I thought this might be too challenging for a first build but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
