Marvel Legends Series: Yelena Belova Black Widow, Classic Comic Collectible 6-Inch Action Figure, 4+ Years

Amazing and after a very simple mod to make her legs close more I have 0 complaints 100% recommend to anyone who is a fan of Yelena you will love her.😄 and she has an amazing head scope .

The figure is Meh. It's the Marvel Comics version of Yelena Belova aka Black Widow 2. Wearing her Night Vision Mask. It's a cool look. But the figure suffers in a number of ways. First up paint apps. Really the only paint on the figure is the head. Everything else is unpainted black plastic. And the paint on the head is mixed to awful. The mask itself is great. Nice crisp silver with red eyes. But the head is also black plastic that's been painted over. And the paint work on the face and hair is too thin. Almost translucent with the black showing through. Giving her an unnatural pallid appearance. It looks like watery flesh tone paint applied over black plastic. We all know what it is the moment we see it and it kills the look of the figure. Her hair is the same. A thin blondish color over black which makes it look washed out. Next problem is articulation. This is basically the same old Black Widow body we have seen many many times before. And it sucks. There is a single ball peg at the top of the neck. No joint at the bottom of the neck. Torso has a single ball joint just below the boobs. No waist joint whatsoever. No swivel no ab crunch. No drop down hips. SIngle jointed elbows. Pegged double jointed knees those same godawful feel we keep getting, and a belt/leg holster that forces her into a perpetual spread eagle as you cannot get her right leg to go straight vertical. The elastic belts force it upwards. While not the worst figure Hasbro has ever made, it's a decade out of date and is unable to do any of the acrobatic martial arts poses that the character does. We expect better from current year overpriced adult targeted action figures. We have the build a figure piece. "Puff Daddy"? I dunno. I'm extremely well read on Marvel back to 1972 and I'm fuzzy on this character and why I would want him. Maybe for a complete Serpent Society? But he is so far down on the list even among them that I don't see the point. I can't even see this bit having trade or e-bay value. And it outweighs everything else in the box. Now the other accessories is where the set shines. These are the reason for getting the figure (on discount). The accessories are actually amazing. You get a nice painted and detailed sniper rifle. A realish looking sniper rifle, not a Nerf Gun. You get a flexible separate shoulder strap for the rifle. You get a large pistol with silencer which holsters on the figure and a smaller pistol with no storage. And you get 4 great gun effect parts. 2 shooting effect parts which are meh but nice to have, and the best thing in the set 2 SMoking Gun effect parts. 2 different shaped translucent grey parts to simulate the smoke coming out of the gun barrel. These are rare treats for Action Figure Display and Photography guys to get. These two tiny parts are the reason alone to buy this figure if you see it cheap. If only Hasbro used a standardized barrel hole between their action figure lines.

Her neck broke at the ball joint, but the replacement was great! I used the lower half of her body for a Modern Mystique custom, with the EPIC HEROES Marvel Legends Mystique upper torso.

It's a necessity in the line of Black Widow action figures. Fantastic accessories to boot!
