These are smaller than the typical jarred lupini but still have very good flavor.

To reviewers who say they're too bitter: you didn't prepare them properly. These highly nutritious and protein packed legumes require a lengthy process. Dried lupini beans contain bitter alkaloids and are toxic if not prepared correctly. Extended soaking in salted water after cooking is a crucial step that makes them safe to eat by leaching out the alkaloids. The salted water needs to be drained and replaced each day for 5-7 days.

Veo que hay comentarios que dicen que tiene un sabor químico, esto es debido al amargor propio de los chochos. Sucede esto porque no los han remojado correctamente, se necesita al menos dos semanas de remojo para que "bote" toda la sustancia amarga que contiene. Primero se deben cocinar durante una hora, dejarlos enfriar y luego de eso ir cambiando su agua por lo menos dos veces al día durante 15 días. Es muy laborioso pero vale la pena.

It smells really real and taste Very Bitter. I was trying to return in but it won’t let me. I ordered 2nags and this small bag are very expensive And have problems But There is no way to contact owner and I waste my time and money. Very Very Disappointed. Never order grocery from Amazon. Very disappointed !

Boil 1 hr. Soak in same heavily salted water as it cooled. Rinsed 2x a day for two weeks to get rid of the bitterness. Last few soaks, we added salt. We think it was worth the wait.
