Hi This poetry of Iqbal is the one which brought him knighthood i.e. the title of 'Sir' and is tremendous. It is unimaginable to translate the poetry from one language to another but Mr. Nicholson has been very close to the poetry of Iqbal in Persian. It is of great importance to understand the Secrets of the Self, which is also the title of the book and lays down the secrets of one's inner being open for the people to understand and discipline one's inner self. Moreover, it is very motivating and teaches that self-assimilation is the secret of life not self-annihilation which refutes Plato's theory. It is definitely a worth buy and poetry is definitely inspired by a divine being as it is above normal human being to produce such a piece of poetry. Thank you

Translation and spellings are at times not that great. But, the title can provide a semblence of the content of the original poetry.

Quality is just okay for the price charged. But the book it self is great!
