SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo and Conditioner Set, 24 Oz Ea

This has to be the BEST shampoo & conditioner I have every used! Here is my story for discoverying this shampoo & conditioner: My hair is about 18" long, full and thick; about 3 months ago my hair was falling-out by the handful; no exaggeration. Each time I washed my hair I'd loose a huge pile of hair (which was down right scary). I limited my hair washing to once a week . . . I also avoid brushing my hair. I researched hair issues (avoiding the doctors); I found myself massaging my scalp with caster oil, coconut oil and Rosemary essential oil ... leaving in my hair for a day; then I'd follow with a hair mask made with eggs, olive oil, coconut oil and honey (leaving in my hair for an hour), I followed with the Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner. I saw an immediate results with my hair gaining strength and resiliance! No more hair loss! The Shea Mositure shampoo is thin in consistency, with approx 2 tablespoons it makes an ULTRA RICH LATHER (the BEST lather I have ever found in a shampoo) to wash my hair beautifully, even with the oil enrichment and egg mask in my hair. Only one wash. Followed with the Shea Moisture conditioner. The conditioner is so thick, you need to open the bottle and squeeze out (it is challenging to get out of the bottle, but well worth it), the conditioner eliminates all the tangles and combs out smoothly. I am a firm believer in the Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner products. I believe it has added to the perfect combination to put a halt to my hair falling out. My hair is soft, smooth, fluffy without tangling, and it is growing healthy once again.

This is some great shampoo and conditioner. I normally don't wash my own hair but being tight on money and the hair salons be very expensive. So I did it myself and I was amazed at the results. So it's worth trying and I am natural 4c to be honest. The product is great great great.

It’s super nourishing, smells like a tropical escape, and leaves my locks feeling soft, defined, and hydrated AF. I use it as a deep treatment and it works wonders on dry, brittle ends. Plus, supporting Jamaican roots makes it even sweeter 😊. Would I recommend? 100%, it’s a must-have for curly/ textured hair!

Does a good job making my hair feel great as someone with curly hair. This shampoo conditioner pair work perfectly well together in terms of smell, feeling of cleanliness, making my hair look and feel fuller and healthier, etc. Good stuff

I have tried so many products that claim to be moisturizing & good for dryness/ frizzyness, let alone helps prolong color treated hair.. None of them came anywhere close and too often even made the problem worse! I decided to try this shampoo/ conditioner duo because I knew some of the ingredients truly were beneficial (like with apple cider vinegar, the smell is a deterrent on it's own) So I colored my hair a few day's before these arrived, & it dryed my hair out pretty bad. I figured it was going to take a good chunk of time to get fresh life back in. I've used the shampoo twice, the conditioner once. Just this much, there is an obvious difference. My hair is softer, no sign of color leaching, & a huge percent of moisture is back from the color treatment. Plus there is natural shine! First time opening the shampoo bottle, I see the color, think of the obvious link to apple cider vinegar & inwardly cringe & mentally prepared myself for the smell ( I wouldn't of cared too bad if it worked, but hoped it'd be a better smelling alternative) It was thankfully, it is a somewhat subtle but obvious aroma of vanilla. (Which is pretty pleasant & lasting) I remembered about the description saying it was good for color treated hair due to low sulfates, so I worried I'd have to use a lot to clean my hair which is on the long side of medium length. It isn't as thick as traditional shampoos, & I did use a little more- but still the quality made it to where it's a non issue. So another plus. Even though I've only used it twice, I've experienced enough already to know that this product has already exceeded my expectations & I will definitely be a repeat customer. My whole family has some degree of natural curls- From light waves, to fairly tight ringlets. So those of you who know- that equals special moisture needs... I'm very happy I discovered this. And I hope if you're like me & trying to find a product like this that actually does what it claims? And this helps you? Then the time I've taken to write this is worth it. Edit: So I've used this for a few month's now, & have had some pleasantly surprising results- I even asked my husband to double check in case I was imagining it.. We both noticed a very definite thickness, & shine to go with everything I said above. I know a lot of women who've gotten hair care items promising this with no results.. So I'm very very very very happy 😂 that this product is doing it without me even noticing it listed as a possible effect? I literally could not be happier with this stuff.

I loved it, I felt that it worked extremely well for my hair. I have only used it twice but I have no complaints. I love Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner.

First off, my hair is not really processes. I colored my hair o er a year ago before i had ny daughter. My hair is wavy, thick, tangles easy, long, and can be frizzy. After I had my first baby, I wanted a shampoo that would restore my hair's natural beauty. My hair has always been a little frizzy, but manageable with the use of common tools. Unfortunately, after having my first my hair just seemed liveless. It felt dry, stringy, and I had fly aways EVERYWHERE. So I bought this product in hopes that it would restore my hair's strength, shine, and breath life back into it. I have been using this for over a month and it is amazing. My hair is soft, extremely shiny, and overall looks amazing. The only downfall is that I live in the south and our humidity is horrific. So my hair still gets frizzy, but that is to be expected when you are not drenching your hair with chemicals. Overall, this product has saved my hair and I will be a life time user. It is very affordable and it doesn't use harmful chemicals. I did have to transition myself onto it. At first I would use the shampoo only and my old conditioner. I did this for a week. Then, I used the shampoo and conditioner every other time I washed my hair and I used my old shampoo and conditioner in between. This seemed to help my hair adjust better. I also use a shower comb to detangel my hair while using the conditioner. I tend to use a quarter size of shampoo and 3 squirter of conditioner. My hair is long and thick so I have always used more conditioner. At first, my hair Shedded A LOT, but over time it became less. My dandruff is nonexistent and my hair is silky soft. It has literally never felt like this in my life!

Smells good. Shampoo is good. Conditioner failed to meet expectations. Conditioner still leaves the hair dry and unmoist.
