I wanted to wait and write this review after I'd given this chair plenty of use, and I'm happy to say that, unlike other chairs, this one is built to last. The fabric hasn't worn and the pneumatic assembly doesn't sag. Best of all, it keeps its shape and support. This chair is great for a convertible desk that you can raise and lower to stand or sit. I go back and forth between positions a lot and it's great to only have 1 chair for both levels. I'm not totally in love with the foot rest, because it feels a little bit unstable sometimes. But for the most part, it stays where you put it and can be adjusted to any height. A good value for the price and a classy look for any office.

I'm really happy with these and the only reason it's not five stars because there's no Dean back on it at all although that's not what was in the description so it's kind of my fault otherwise they look great really high quality and if you don't want to lean back on the chair then I would buy them

Update May 2025 - the foot ring will not remain in place anymore, the knob that screws into the base doesn't hold it securely anymore. The slightest bit of weight & it drops to the bottom. So much for resting my feet on it while I work. So disappointing & frustrating. Dropping a start for the sheer annoyance of this feature. Purchased July 2024: I have a standing desk, but I do need to sit often during the day. This chair is perfect for my needs, and it's comfortable enough for a work day. I love that you can raise the arms if you want. Instructions to put it together were very easy to understand. I have some chronic back and neck issues, which is why I need to stand often, and this chair doesn't aggravate me at all. I'd recommend it.
