Best value autofocus lens for Fuji X mount, period.
I was immediately struck by the sharpness and quality of images coming out of this lens. It's just as sharp (that is to say, razor sharp) at f/2.8 as it is at f/8. Almost out-resolving the X-Trans 4 sensor in my X-T3, even. Color rendition is pleasing as well with no overt or noticeable color shifts. It doesn't have the greatest minimum focus distance at 35cm, but thats only 1cm longer than its closest competition, the Fujifilm 27mm f/2.8. This TTArtisan 27mm certainly isn't a bokeh beast considering its somewhat slow maximum aperture and far minimum focus distance, but if you shoot at MFD and wide-open you can get somewhat out of focus backgrounds with swirly, characteristic bokeh. Vignetting is also heavy, especially wide open. It becomes more subtle as you stop down but never fully disappears. The lens is super small and light, and has a pretty decent feel in the hand. The aperture ring clicks nicely enough at every 1/3 stop and the focus ring offers an acceptable amount of resistance. Considering everything I mentioned, plus this lens's metal build, you simply cannot go wrong picking one up for $160!

Best value EDC x-mount lens on the market
Great lens and probably best value on the market for a Fuji x mount. Autofocus is good, materials are good enough, photos come out sharp. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for one.

Good 2.8 aperture and compact size
A lot of good reviews found on this len. After using a few months, I agree the small size and matal construction are good. However, in darker environment, if you use auto aperature, the autofocus always out focus. You need choose manual especially use the 2.8A which very good. The Fuji xc15-55 len performance better and I always have zoom. I keep this len mostly due to its compact size with autofocus and good value.

TTArtisan 27mm F2.8
After watching early reviews and checking out a Fuji 27mm lens I thought I would give this a try. I purchased a used X-E1 to use as a travel camera. Already have an XT-2 and had a spare cheap manual focus lens to use on the X-E1. After playing with the manual lens decided I wanted an auto-focus lens for the X-E1. Not wanting to spend more on a lens than on the used camera I pulled the trigger and ordered the TTArtisan. I have not had too many chances to get out with the camera due to holidays and weather in the Great Lakes region but the photos taken have been very acceptable overall. I did not notice any major vignetting at f2.8 as some have stated. Works in manual and auto modes, autofocus speed is quick enough. The aperture ring may take some getting used to. Overall the build quality is good, it is slightly larger than the Fuji 27mm but for 1/2 the price I feel it was a good choice.

Pleasantly Surprised
I chose this lens because it seemed like an affordable alternative to Fuji's pre-existing 27mm lenses. To my surprise the lens performed quite well both in sharpness and accurate autofocus. The lens seems to be metal, well built, and has a cute lens hood for its small filter size. There's a bit of vignetting on the edges wide open but nothing that can't be fixed or worked around. Overall I think the lens is well worth it, especially for the price point!

Lens works as advertised on X-T3
The lens works as intended at least on my X-T3. I have the original 27mm f2.8 from Fuji and after waiting so long for the WR version, I found this to be a compelling lens at a great price. The TTArtisan version has quieter autofocus and has the aperture ring I missed on the original 27mm. The aperture ring is firmer than Fuji's and doesn't click as smoothly. The autofocus is fast and sharpness is very good. This 27mm also has a great firmware update system and I've already seen autofocus improvement going to 1.0.2. One thing I still have yet to figure out on the lens is the vignetting. Fuji lens comes with automatic correction and it's made the system much simpler to use. We can remove at post, but this is one reason I couldn't make the rating the full 5 stars. After seeing a couple of 1 star reviews I felt compelled to actually review the lens as it should have worked. I did get a warning from Pergear that there was a possibility that the lens may have been handled incorrectly during shipment. I did not need to reset my lens so it worked right out of the package. After using this lens, I quickly sold the original Fuji 27mm for more than the cost of this lens. If you have that old lens, this is worth the price "upgrade".
