Solid replacement part that gets the job done. I’ve used this pump on two different front-load washers now and both were back up and running in about an hour. The fit was perfect, connections lined up exactly, and the build quality feels every bit as good as the original. Drains fast and runs quietly once installed. I ordered from someone else a different brand of the same style pump and it failed within a month. So far this pump has been working like the original in all aspects. Full lifespan, I have no idea but its still working after a few months. Design is like the OEM. Drains just like the OEM. IF you have to look at instructions then you should not be replacing it yourself probably. FYI I found a great video that tells how to remove the pump without disassembling the washing machine. Makes the job of replacement a 15 minute deal. Raise the front of the washing machine by tilting it back and you have all the access you need to change the pump assembly without disassembly of the whole washer.

We've had this pump installed in our LG washer for some time. It was easy to install if you happen to be just a little handy. I've done everything from building computers from scratch to adding on a 20' X 22' screened-in porch onto our house, so most people would consider me to be quite "handy", but you don't need too many skills to install the pump (a Google search will get you thru). I purchased this in February of 2025, and it has worked great without any problems so far.

I don't know what the upgrade is. Though good fitment and function. One note here, our front loader always is kinda smelly. On removal of old pump. There is a cavity behind the impeller that cannot drain and it was black goowy smelly. I cut into the bottom of that cavity to allow it to drain fully without any change to its function. Our smell is gone. When I drain the small line at removable filter of sorts. It drains much longer, so I know that water is getting back out of that small chamber of pump. Notched out with a dremel , kind of like a banana shape. Now we will keep our front loader.

Two year update: I had to replace after two years of hard use. We have 6 people and 3 dogs in the house and do 2-3 loads per day. With 20+ load per week, this little guy works overtime. For $25 and about 30-45 mins worth of work, it’s well worth the price and effort to keep from having to buy another washing machine. It’s still louder than the OE motor. Original Review: Fits exactly in the OE mount and all hoses and connectors connect to it with 0 modifications. It’s a like-for-like swap. The only noticeable difference is that it is a bit louder than the factory one, but that’s negligible to me. Besides that it’s excellent.

After 13 years of using my LG wm8000hva washing machine, my drain pump finally gave up. I was skeptical about this product and I don't know how long it will last but I needed the part ASAP. For the price, it's really affordable. I searched youtube on DIY and I found out that you dont need to remove a lot of parts and it was an easy install by going under the machine. It was quieter than the original LG drain pump and looks like an LG factory product. Quality was great and it worked as it should. I did two batch of laundry already and it does work with no leak. Hopefully this will last me 13 years again and I recommend this product!

Perfect fit. Resolved the error on my washing machine. No noise and easy to install. The water is draining properly and it lasted as long as the OEM pump.
