I've used a different brand of these before, and bought this kind because I thought they were basically all the same. Well, not quite. The ones I normally get have a gel-like consistency inside, which helps them to stay inside the bootie and not leak all over the place. These ones are basically the consistency of water. That makes them harder to put on without spilling the liquid on the floor, and even with socks on over them, a bunch of liquid seeped out onto my bed sheets. :-/ They did work, but I'm switching back to the gel kind.

Second time using a foot mask. This is a different brand but works the same. Put them on and try to keep your feet in the solution. avoid walking or standing as much as possible because the plastic boots will break. I used it for 60 minutes. I have very dry feet. If your feet are not very dry you won’t see much peeling. I lightly washed my feet after the treatment in shower because the top of my feet were a little irritated. The last mask i used the top of my feet felt weird for a week so i wanted to avoid that. Every day i had more pieces of dry skin flaking and my feet looked horrid. I assumed showering was enough of a soak but it’s not. Do not skip soaking your feet. On day five i grabbed a dish pan filled with warm water and stood in it while i fixed my hair and makeup. After that soak i dried my feet and in a few minutes so much skin was wanting to peel off. Still have a lot so I’ll soak again tonight to speed it along. I recommend doing this end of winter because it takes a few weeks and the peeling is not attractive. I’ve Kept socks on since i did it.

This foot peel mask is great to remove dead skin without having to use a tool. It’s so simple to put on and even walk around in, since it comes with socks as well. Just FYI, I wouldn’t use it just before an event with open toe shoes or alike, as for me it peeled for a couple days, however I prefer that to “graters” at a salon (those make me a bit “dizzy”). It has a bit of a chemical smell in the bag, but that disappears and the skin gets baby smooth after the peeling is done. I had it on the full hour, but I think you can have it on for a shorter time to limit the strength on the peel as well. I’ve only used one so far, because it is pretty strong, but my mom also tried it who has more calluses, and her skin also looks a lot better — she is very happy about it!

Take a pass on this product. I bought it because it was cheaper than other comparable brands and now I know why... They leak EVERYWHERE! And the smell is awful.First, putting on the booties was a disaster. Unless you cut the opening to fit your foot perfect (which is almost impossible), it will sag and leak. There are pieces of tape included but they are useless since they no longer stick to anything once they are wet (again, leakage).I had to go get tape to put around my ankles and it still wasn't good enough. I sat back on the recliner and it leaked out onto the couch. This is also after it leaking onto my bed when I tried to put the booties on originally. Now, both my couch and bed have the nastiest smell from the leakage.Do yourself a favor and buy the more expensive booties (look for Amazon's Choice). I plan to throw out the remaining ones of these since I do not want a repeat of what happened with the first pair. And I'm a cheap person so that's saying a lot.
