The Earthing Elite Mattress Cover is made from our proprietary grounding material that is the culmination of two decades of research and development. Clint Ober designed it after feedback from our customers that they wanted a sleep option that would last longer than silver-threaded grounding sheet. The grounded Mattress Cover can be placed over or under your fitted sheet. It is 100% conductive, easy to clean, and very durable. Sleeping grounded is one of the easiest ways you can ground your body consistently each day for 6-8 hours! Review: This item is a piece of cloth that is bonded to a piece of material that is slightly electrically conductive. It also has a bonded-on connector with a separate removable wire that plugs into the supplied grounding interface module. This grounding module plugs into any standard USA 120V AC wall outlet and presents only two special GROUND pins for user to plug this mat into, while for safety, the hazardous 120VAC power pins are completely blocked and unavailable. So User puts this mat on the bed and then plugs the mat into the Ground Module which connects to the "3rd wire ground" circuit of the home or building's electrical wiring. For maximum safety, the mat User has no connection to the building's 120VAC power, but only to the building's "3rd wire ground" circuit. At or very near to the building's main circuit breaker panel (usually where power comes into the building), this ground circuit is connected to one or more large conductive metal rods that are driven deeply into the earth's soil. The Power Company also uses large earth ground rods at their main facilities and at transformer sites. The soil in most parts of North America is conductive, so the earth (soil) itself is used as a massive "3rd wire" in modern electrical systems. So this mat is connected to the electrical "3rd wire ground" circuit which is eventually connected to actual earth soil - thus Users of this mat say they are "Earthing", whatever that means, when they put this mat under their sheets or mattress covers of their beds. Note that the typical "3rd wire ground" circuit in most homes does have a small amount of AC noise voltage on it with respect to a direct earth soil connection. This fact means that your mat is NOT directly connected to earth's soil, but rather it is connected to wires that run all through your home before they get to the actual earth grounding rod outside in the soil. Like antennas, this myriad of copper wires throughout your home pick up small amounts of radiated electrical noise from all of your wired appliances, like heaters, air conditioners, washers, dryers, microwave ovens, stereos, TVs, computers, phone chargers, light dimmers, etc. So in reality, most home users of this mat are not connecting directly to quiet and calm Mother Earth, but rather to a noisy low voltage AC wire circuit that eventually connects to quiet and calm Earth. This random noise voltage is so low that no one will get shocked, but it is rarely zero volts in most home environments. And for general safety, most UL approved mat systems using the 3rd wire ground will only conduct minuscule, unharmful currents. This mat makes a crinkling sound whenever you move across it - like the sound a metallized bag from cookies, chips or popcorn makes when you ball it up. This mat (the smaller one we bought) will fit only about 1/3 of a queen size bed, so we placed ours along the foot end of the bed. You may want a larger mat. Finally, after an hour under the bed covers at night, I found this mat felt slightly cool under my legs (room temp set at 69), as if this electrically conductive sheet was also a heat conductive sheet, drawing warmth away from my legs - so my legs and feet got chilled after an hour or so. Once I got up and removed the mat from the bed, my legs once again warmed up normally. Your mileage may vary. Review: I’ve used this and the pillow cover for 4 months and can’t tell any difference. I hope they are doing some good.

I rarely write reviews. I didn’t experience anything different from my normal insomnia. I am somewhat ashamed that I fell for the hype from someone I know. I tried it under and over the fitted sheet and I felt a heavy sensation. Carrying groceries home could do that but I wasn’t sedated. It was not only useless, but the straps wouldn’t stay on and it had the odor of a vinyl tablecloth. I was afraid that I would damage the grounding wire because the mattress is right up against the wall. I decided to cut my losses very early within the return window. Why not sell a brand of sugar pills called “Placebo”? 😡 There’s probably grounding exercises which can be done inside or outside. Tai Chi would be more beneficial. I had even written separately before the purchase to the Earthing company but they didn’t reply so I thought that the Amazon return policy would mitigate any losses. I wouldn’t have trusted buying it directly from the company itself, but that’s just me. Please learn from my mistake. But wait! There’s more! If you act now, I will sell you a custom built bridge leading nowhere in the middle of a plot of land. Thank you. Be safe and well.

It did not help me st all. In fact zi could not sleep on it. It kept me awake. The mat works wonders but just a little small. Wish it were a little wider!
