Decent quality set that has now accompanied us on several fossil hunting missions and really added to the fun. The hammer and chisels are really all we use, along with the bag which is robust and spacious enough to take the weight of the tools and our haul of fossils. The rest of the bits were a bit superfluous for us, we use better quality safety eyewear than in this kit. Overall, a well received present that has had plenty of use.

Got a set to hunt for ammonites at the Yorkshire jurassic coast. I ended up finding 3! The set is nice. The hammer is heavy, the bag is sturdy and spacious, and the spade is also really convenient, given that it's foldable. + I really appreciate the goggles being included. There were splitters flying everywhere when hitting the rocks.

Good selection of items, overall quite heavy if you're walking a distance. Would be useful to have a small carry strap on the bag flap rather than only the shoulder strap which was a bit of a pain when you need to pick things up and move quickly (like when the tide comes in unexpectedly!)

Cracking stuff to get going in the field. Good quality materials.

Great kit - we thoroughly enjoyed using this kit, for anyone looking into fossil hunt for the first time I would suggest taking an additional rucksack type bag to hold your special finds in to help spread the weight more than this one shoulder bag included with the kit

Bought this set for some fossil hunting in Lyme Regis and it was perfect. Super quality tools, strong bag, great little extras. Oh and yes we did find some nice fossils.

Been beating this up pretty good and works great Just the case leaks green if it gets wet so spray it with some fabric guard lol awesome kit for the price!

Great gift for any rockhound! Definitely quality and heavy duty. A good value and great set to have.

Excellent quality tools and bag. Everything that you need for fossicking. The shovel easily comes apart and stores in another separately provided case. The bag is really sturdy with a zip pocket inside for storage separate from the tools. Gloves, goggles, velvet bags for gemstones are all included and well made.
