What inc cartridges does this need?

Did you ever get the answer? In case you still need to know, the ink cartridge is HP304. I have one of these printers but never use it. I bought it last July when I needed an inexpensive printer quickly but bought a better one about two weeks later. It's all right for printing text but completely inadequate for photographs. The tri-colour cartridge system simply isn't capable of producing quality prints. That being the case, they are vastly overpriced - over triple what I paid last July and almost double the price of the printer at that time. I wouldn't bother.

Anyone have trouble WiFi connecting to computer it seems to have put it in list but saying no driver installed shouldn’t this have gone in software

Absolute nightmare of setting up, found a hp youtube about connecting using WPS button, thought I'll have a butchers after trying wireless then going through my box of old leads to find an ancient usb square ended lead, which worked when computer was wired to it, but um, supposed to be wireless. Went into settings switched IPV6 off (saw someone mention this but doubt it had anything to do with outcome) and went into wireless push button settings, pressed it then pressed router wps for 10 seconds. Went back to printer and boom! on the network. Hours spent ducking around and in the end it was a WPS button push. Give it a go might work for you to, I'm hoping it lasts, til tomorrow at least.

how is it monochrome with multi colour inks

When I was looking at this printer, I wondered why it said Monochrome. After doing a lot of searching, I found that Monochrome does not always mean only black and white. The HP Envy 5030 prints in colour. Here is what I found in my last search Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker color, grey or black. ... This design should not be called as monochromatic in strictly scientific meaning.
