Sticky, safe, no smell. Flies stick fast. Messy but effective. Great bulk buy
These fly paper strips are non-toxic, pesticide-free, and designed to trap flies, gnats, moths, and other airborne pests. Each strip is coated with a strong adhesive gel that holds insects on contact. They’re ideal for kitchens, greenhouses, bins, pet areas, and even outdoor patios. Installation is simple: twist, pull, and hang using the red loop and included thumbtack. Once full, just remove and bin it—no mess, no fumes. The adhesive is odourless, making it safe to use around food prep areas and pets. ✅ Pros Strong adhesive—flies stick instantly, no escape Pesticide-free—safe for homes with kids or pets Odourless—no chemical smell or vapour Easy to hang—loop and tack system included Works indoors and outdoors—greenhouses, bins, kitchens Affordable bulk pack—16 strips for under £61 ⚠️ Cons Sticky to handle—can get on fingers if not careful Not reusable—single-use only Can droop in heat—best hung in shaded areas Visible mess—dead flies are exposed Limited coverage—best used in multiples for larger areas 🧍♂️ Personal Verdict Used these in a bin area and greenhouse—flies gone in hours. The strips are super sticky, so wear gloves or use the loop. No smell, no fuss, and they do the job. For under a tenner, they’re a solid fix for fly season. Just don’t expect them to look pretty once they’re working.

It's sticky! It works.
I bought this because my house plants became infested with fungus gnats. I put one roll in a bowl next to each plant with a small piece of banana peel underneath to attract the flies. It worked. Caught hundreds of flies. Downside is that the sticky stuff in the paper is incredibly incredibly sticky and it's almost impossible to avoid getting it all over your fingers. Once that happens it's not easy to get it off. Lots and lots of scrubbing with soap. The same goes if you get it on anything. It took ages to get it off the bowls I used. This is a pain. Obviously it works to catch flies by being sticky so what can you do? Wear pvc gloves while handling and avoid letting it touch anything important is probably the only solution. Still recommend though as a cheap answer to annoying flies in the house.

Does the job brilliantly and low cost 👍
👍 I’m genuinely impressed with how effective they are at catching flies and other insects. They work really well in areas that are prone to flies/bugs and definitely midges. I like that they’re pesticide-free, which makes them a safer option for homes with pets and children. They’re very easy to use, just hang or place them where flies are most active, and they do the job. They really make a difference in the kitchen. The adhesive is strong and holds the insects in place. I also appreciate that they can be used both indoors and outdoors, making them versatile for areas like patios and gardens. For the price, 16 strips offer great value, and I’ll be set for quite a while. One thing to keep in mind is that the adhesive is very strong, so it can be tricky to handle without getting it on your hands or other surfaces. After a while, the traps can start to look unsightly, especially when they’ve caught a lot of flies. The adhesive loses its effectiveness over time, so you’ll need to replace the strips for best results. Overall, these fly paper strips are an affordable, easy-to-use solution for controlling flies and other insects without chemicals. They’re very effective at first but should be replaced regularly for maximum performance.

useless
Doesn’t unravel as it should, pin and top detaches and leaves a sticky bit to handle. Flies go on then fly off!! USELESS

Very fragile, and prepare for sticky fingers!
They work okay once youve hung them up, but the pins to attach them to ceilings are built into the plastic caps. You need to pull the cap off very carefully because they're covered in sticky goo. I couldn't push the built in drawing pins into my ceilings, because they are hard plaster. After trying the first one with my fingers slipping in sticky goo I gave up. I drilled holes in my ceilings and screwed small hooks in to hang the fly catchers on. I hadn't read the instructions about rotating the container anti clockwise as you pull it down and ended up with sticky tubes for the first two attempts. Then one pulled away from its hanging ribbon as I pulled it down, covering me in sticky goo. It's very hard to get it off your skin! I stuck it back together and was sitting at my dining table when it fall off, landing on the table! What a mess. You find places in your home where they'll catch more flys than others by experimenting, The ceiling hooks are a good idea because you can put them in several places then move the fly catchers around to the places where they're most effective. Used with care, twisting them as you pull them down, they can work very well.

Not fit for purpose - Recommendation in the comment
Does not pull out nicely and tears as paper is dry and without sticky to the top making it tear. If stick together again it just drags down and falls. Not worth the money. I’d recommend TuuLKIT insect catcher by far the best as I’ve now found. Can use for weeks on end until filled with flies and insects, super sticky and the pins and tag to hang are of quality.

Works brilliantly – no more flies in the kitchen!
I was getting fed up with flies buzzing around the kitchen during this warm weather, so I decided to give this fly trap a go. Honestly, I’m impressed – within a day I noticed a huge drop in the number of flies. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t smell bad, and it’s completely mess-free. I put it near the bin and one by the back door, and both are working a treat. Would definitely recommend if you want a simple, effective solution without chemicals or fuss.
