This is a game changer for curly hair. Or for my hair that isn’t real curly and isn’t real straight. With this large diffuser I can get hair to curl and really fast. Love it.

Hands down the best hair dryer diffuser combo I have ever tried! The diffuser is huge, lightweight, easy to take off and on. It also allows more air flow than my tulip diffuser which means way less drying time. The dryer itself feels so well made and not as loud as my old dryer. I have long thick wavy/curly hair but also fine so some diffusers leave me with little volume or way too much frizziness. But not this one. This is a keeper for me!!!

This hair dryer works great for my curly hair. I have very long hair and the extra large diffuser sets this dryer apart from others that I have tried. It sets my curls perfectly and keeps them very smooth. This dryer is powerful and does a great job at drying my hair. I have recommended it to several people with curly hair. This dryer is a must have item in my routine so I have purchased two of them. I keep one at home and one in my travel bag so I always have it with me.

I was looking to replace my Deva curl hair dryer and this continued to come up with the best reviews. I have 3B curls, very thick hair so I needed a big diffuser. This one exceeded my expectations! It dries my hair quick and with little frizz. The heat level is fine, not too hot but it gets the job done. The cord length is long which is great and overall I don’t think the dryer is too heavy. I’m happy with the purchase and would say it’s the best price I found when looking online.

Loved this dryer so much I got a second one for my gym locker. Hair dry in half the time (about 15-20 minutes). Low noise and not heavy. Love the large diffuser attachment. Highly recommend. I have 3c ( mostly) curls.

I got it to try to see how curly my hair really was and it did work! Still using it every time. The diffuser makes it so simple.

I love this hairdryer. I had been diffusing my hair with a cheap Revlon hairdryer and an attachment I bought off Amazon and it worked really well, but it would give me a little bit of heat damage and frizz. After two years of that… I decided to invest in The curl smith and I have no more frizz. I can diffuse my hair several times a week without damage. It does take longer because it’s using lower heat to dry, but the results are worth it. I also noticed my curls, maybe are not quite as tight as they were with the other dryer and diffuser, but perhaps I can figure out a way to fix that problem eventually however the quality of curl and the health of my hair is much higher with this blow dryer. The blow dryer itself is pretty quiet. It is heavy but it is also pretty big and holds a lot of hair, although I still think it works better if I break my hair intersections to dry it. I like the little root lift comb. Overall, I would not go back to a cheaper blow dryer after using this one.

I initially gave this a 5 star review after using it twice and being so impressed! It significantly slashed my drying time by 70% - I have long, thick, curly hair. Unfortunately, during the third use - I started hearing a popping sound and smelling burnt plastic. Hairdryer began smoking so I quickly turned it off. I live in New Zealand so I made sure to use a transformer and voltage converter plug. I have bought other American appliances with same voltage (60 Hz) that work fine on these, never had problems. Tested the power point and it was fine. The safety buttons on the plug of this hairdryer also did nothing - safety light never flashed when the Hairdryer began making popping sounds and smoking - I checked throughout. Instructions say light will start flashing if it's not safe to use. It has cost me around $100 USD to post it back from New Zealand to Amazon for return (that's over half the price of the hairdryer!!) If I buy another one (with Amazon refund) and pay for shipping again the total cost will be over $500 USD which is NUTS. Really disappointed. Was so excited to use it and waited months to purchase!!

I ordered it thinking it must be dual because they didn’t write anything about the voltage so be aware of that if you’re out of states or from countries that have 220v
