Q: Does this powder help with hair growth?

I think this differs for everyone. I see growth all the time maybe it's because of the collagen and maybe not. I see a real difference in my skin more than hair.

The Types refers to where the collagen came from but truly not where it works in the body so we have removed all reference to it on our labels. We believe it's best to promote a better understanding that collagen is a protein that is highly prized because of its unique 18 amino acids that profiles an abundance of glycine, proline and hydroxyproline. In fact, collagen is the only known source of hydroxyproline, which is believed to help stimulate the body’s own collagen production. It's important to know that collagen is collagen is collagen and it’s fairly well-established that collagen can positively influence skin, joint and bone health. Our collagen powder has 6 grams of protein that provide all 18 of these unique amino acids."

Q: Why doesn’t it show how many calories are in one serving?

Hello and thank you for your question. Food products contain “nutritional facts” and are required to list calories. Dietary supplements contain “supplement facts” and are NOT required to list calories. Although we haven’t tested calories for this particular product... there’s an easy calculation for determining this. Protein provides 4 calories per gram. This formula supplies 6 grams of collagen protein per serving... which equates to about 24 calories. The vanilla flavor doesn't provide any calories. Hope this answers your question.
