These are great for encouraging my cats to take their tablets, they just lick the spoon clean.

Do now know about the urinary tract improvements, but my cat loves the taste and smell and licks it right from the tube.

Cats love this and it works for mild hairball issues. Not for heavier hairball issues though

On days when she is too stressed (cat wars) to eat it from her bowl I just put it on my finger or wipe it io her paw. I wish I could give it to my teenage son. Wait - can I give it to my teenage son???

I bought it for my Persian Cat and it seems to have worked well !!! Very easy to administer and cat likes the taste/smell !!! Must have for furry buddies !!!

My cat has been given a great start in life, from early vet visits to quality kitten food to give her the best start in life. (lots of Hooman love too) So when it came to a hairball treatment, we picked this brand, "Nuti•Vet", because of the choice of Ingredients and flavour options. We first tried Chicken as that is one of her and her brothers favourite flavors, but she would not have anything to do with it. Her brother loved the chicken buy the way. Our vet was kind enough to let us try other brands they use, to see if she would react favorably, but LeSalon, Sentry, Hartz and Tomlyn did not interest her in any way. Then we ordered the Salmon flavor hoping it would maybe interest her through smell, and she instantly licked the paste from the tube. Happy she enjoys this one, better for her and safe on her system. If you have a finicky eater, that does like Salmon, this could be the perfect choice for you. Check out the ingredients in the other brands, non are as good as this one overall. It's the best choice in our eyes, hope it's yours for your fur baby.

My very picky cat loves this & links it off my finger. In less than a week she is losing the arthritic limp. She is obviously feeling better. Good stuff!

The Nutri-Vet Hairball Paw Gel has been amazing for all of our polydactyl cats—yes, all four of them! It’s easy to give, and it really helps reduce hairballs and keeps them comfortable. My elderly cat got her first urinary tract infection. She was going into the litter box every 5-10 minutes, straining for a long time, and only a few drops of urine were coming out. I knew what that meant, as I'd had a male cat before who developed crystals in his urine which blocked his urinary tract. Fearing that she too had crystals and not just a bacterial infection, I rushed her to the vet. They said there was blood in her urine, but that their urinalysis did not reveal any indication of crystals. The vet also noted that her urine was at pH 6. So it was in a normal range, and yet her white blood cell count was high, indicating an infection. The vet was somewhat alarmed by the slightly low pH because usually bacteria can not exist in that acidic range. I explained that I had given her some of this stuff the night before and she went "Ohhh, OK". Anyway, this gel has DL-methionine, which is an amino acid which is known to acidify the urine. It is often added as an ingredient to urinary health cat foods. BUT this gel also contains a high amount of cranberry and some vitamin C, both of which also naturally acidify urine. I know from my own experience that I HATE, ABHOR taking antibiotics. The vet prescribed my cat $48 of Clavamox. I've used it before commonly to treat my pets when they've had infections such as abscesses or other injuries. It's always given them severe diarrhea but it does the job. In this case, I didn't want to subject my elderly kitty to such a harsh treatment when in my own personal experience, cranberry does an even better job and faster too. I've been able to curb my own UTI's in one day by taking concentrated Whole herb cranberry capsules. Well, I bought the antibiotics just so the vet wouldn't think I was neglecting my cat. Didn't touch it or even open the box. Its still sitting in the fridge. I just kept giving her an inch of Uri Ease every day. Within days her symptoms were gone. Just to be sure I applied the gel to her everyday for a week. She HATES eating anything that she know she HAS TO eat. So even supplements that taste good, if I mix them into canned food, she will not eat it. So the gel form is perfect for my purposes. Since cats can't stand having 'dirty' in their fur, I just apply the gel to her side and within minutes she has licked it off. Sorry, long story, but the point is this: Uri Ease Gel is a must-have in any cat-owner's arsenal. They are all prone to UTI's and males especially to kidney and bladder issues, so it never hurts to be prepared. AWESOME PRODUCT!!! -------------------------- IMPORTANT UPDATE as of mid-2011 or so.
