Presentation The The Regal Mutt - Scottish Salmon Oil For Dogs, Cats, Horses, Ferrets arrived simply wrapped in a sealed plastic sleeve as a 1 Litre plastic bottle with a sealed top for shipping to prevent leaks and a separate pump action cap for use. The bottle has a rather funky label with a not to be named but rather well known old cartoon character dog as part of the presentation. First Impressions The oil has plenty of natural beneficial properties not just for dogs but also cats, horses etc and contains Omega 3, 6 & 9 food supplements. Day To Day Use We give the dogs a couple of squirts with the tea every other day to help keep their skins and coats in good order and hopefully keep their joints supple and working well as they age. They do seem to like this on their kibble, and their coats look very glossy and healthy – whether this is all down to the oil is debatable but I am sure it helps. The pump action works well when squirted onto their food, and is thick enough not to splash when it hits the intended target and the dogs appear to find it tasty as they are always that little bit more eager to get at their food when it is present. Summing Up Whilst I cannot say that I find the smell of the oil in any way appealing – and if you spill or squirt it on the floor or tops it is a devil to get the smell off. This brand which is priced at £10.99 for the 1 litre bottle is outstanding value and should last an age, whilst the quality does seem to be very good given that the dogs do like it.

I bought this to try because my dogs nails are a little brittle. I've only just started using it so time will tell if it helps. I will say however, she loves it. It smells like salmon but not overly fishy. My cats though, are a little offended that I added a couple of drops to their food, I have 3 of them and 1 is quite greedy, he was not amused that I ruined his dinner, lol. It doesn't matter though, I wanted this for my dog and she's happy with it. Seems very good quality and it's a good size bottle for a descent price. Will probably buy again before I run out.

One of the best salmon oils in my opinion...certainly seems to be helping with my senior pooch's joints and coat looks great too. I would have given 5star rating however the pump mechanism snapped when trying to open, fortunately I hadn't thrown a previous pump away....

Excellent stuff. It is easy to administer on my dogs food. He loves it and is great for his health. This is a repeat order. Well worth the money.

Our pooches love this oil as it doesn't have the overpowering salmon smell that comes with most oils. It's actually helped to transform one of my dogs claws, the vet thought he may have had a claw condition that would need life long medication, however at our last check up she has confirmed that is no longer the case as his claws have drastically improved since starting this oil. Our other dog has been shedding horrendously and this seems to have calmed down a lot since starting the oil. I don't know whether this is a coincidence or not. I like the fact it comes in a larger 1 litre bottle instead of the piddly 500ml bottles that cost the same price and don't last 5 minutes. We'll be repurchasing.

This product it brilliant. My one dog always had cold, bald ears but since taking this salmon oil, hair has grown on his ears like my other dog. His fur which was once a little wirey is now soft. The pump does leak which is annoying but I'll take that given the positive difference it's made me to my dog.

Packaged well. Good price. Makes my dogs coat lovely and shiny.

Great product, but I only gave it 4 stars because when I fitted the pump it broke. Luckily, I had a spare pump which fitted the bottle. There seems to be a fault somewhere.
