Really nice watch for the money and great movement

If you didn’t know a lot about watches then you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and one that costs thousands of pounds. The design looks like a well known high end brand watch and it certainly doesn’t feel cheap either having plenty of weight to it. The strap is has plenty of links making it suitable for bigger wrists, if you have small wrists you may need to remove some however. The bracelet also has a butterfly clasp which again is something you find on high end watches. The watch boasts a skeleton (see through) case back which shows off the movement. The best thing about the watch is that it’s automatic meaning no batteries are required. Movement will keep the watch ticking along or winding it will do the same. The watch seems to keep it’s time well and I am genuinely extremely impressed by the quality and what you get for such little money.

This watch may have a cheap price but it looks and feels cheap too. It is an automatic and the automatic system seems to work but my first complaint came with the metal bracelet.One of the pins is loose – actually at the segment that holds the watches buckle so not a segment that should be removed. It could catch skin potentially but more likely will fall out and make the watch fall off. A try with a watch hammer did not convince the segment to sit flush (I couldn’t try a screw tool as the segment sits too high for the tool as it isn’t a segment that should be removed, as I mentioned). Then the connecting metal between watch and bracelet is not properly finished and is rough to touch. It is all indicative of a cheaply made watch.The face itself has screws round that look more like soviet-era chic than stylish. The face is a skeleton design to allow a glimpse of the workings and I love that sort of design… well I do on my Ingersoll where it is finely cut and a thing of beauty. This just isn’t. It is just kind of ugly.
